Also there was no North Melbourne vs Saint Kilda game today, the website glitched...it was cancelled because of coronavirus...DONT LOOK AT THE SCORE WORM.
Hopefully that game can be wiped from everyone's memory, such a classic saints performance fucking hell.

Teams that will benefit from the COVID extended bye Gold Coast - getting older is what their team needs, and another 2-3 months of everyone aging isn't gonna do any wrong Fremantle - they got like 6 of their best 22 back from injury, I reckon they'll be threatening to be in the top 8 this year cos of it. Their defence is legit really fucking good and no one talks about it. That will be hurt by the COVID extended bye Geelong - their performances after the bye have been awful in previous seasons Being serious they're an old team. West Coast - with the Kelly trade and an aging team they were really bargaining on this being their year, but with a couple of months away from full-team training it's going to be interesting to see how far they get in this comprimised season. Hawthorn - old forward line Brisbane - they were on such a roll, idk if they will be disadvantaged as per say; or just that other teams will catch up to their very small injury list. Adelaide - they really just needed to get on the track and get games into young players.

FOOTBALL IS BACK
11th June put it in your calendars.
Its gonna work as a flexible fixture being released in 4 week chunks. All the NSW, Qld and Vic teams will stay in their normal places but the 4 SA and WA teams are being flown to the gold coast and playing all their home games there

First 4 weeks of fixtures have been announced.
For the saints (my team) we have: Round 2: vs Western Bulldogs at Etihad- we're gonna get fucked up I feel, Bulldogs are very fast and lethal. L Round 3: vs Collingwood at MCG- also not feeling good about this. L Round 4: vs Richmond at Etihad- no chance. L Round 5: vs Carlton at MCG- should win this fairly comfortably, I feel like by round 5 we would've consolidated ourselves as a mid-lower table side and everyone will be near full fitness after the extended break.
So Saints should be 1-4 after round 5, not looking very good.
Sydney have quite a good run of Essendon, North Melbourne, Bulldogs and Melbourne.
So do Fremantle with Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Gold Coast and Adelaide.
Both Sydney and Fremantle have decent chances to start their seasons off nicely compared pre-season predictions.

Bit of a season summary as of the end of round 6 Ladder: Surprises of the ladder so far: Maybe not a surprise, but this season has been so tight with one win and % separating 2nd and 13th. The only real predictable signs are Adelaide being truly shit (30% and 2 wins away from 17th) and Port Adelaide being very good, with the highest percentage. Gold Coast have been surprising, they've looked quite decent so far and although they will probably fade towards the end of the season they're looking good enough to finish 10th-12th. Carlton have also looked decent, albeit inconsistent; it's also their first end-of-round placement inside the top 8 since 2013, you heard it right, 2013 FOR ANY GIVEN ROUND. Teams that have disappointed have been North Melbourne, Hawthorn, West Coast, GWS and Richmond. Saint Kilda (my team) absolutely choking against Fremantle (perth team and favourite team of my dad and many friends). We lead 45-8 just after the quarter time break and still fucking lost it. With the score worm, the big steps are goals (6 points), little steps are behinds (1 point).

Got away with a very nice win against Gold Coast. Our last 4 games against them (since late 2017) have all been wins for St Kilda by 4 points or less One of the best matches of the year as well. Lots of momentum swings, good marks and goals.

streamable.com/pirxjgLikely for goal of the year, in the absolute wet and the kick he's done is a very difficult kick to execute.
