So elated from this ladder that I've almost forgotten I've only got 3/8 tips correct so far Also if Hawthorn beat Geelong tomorrow then 11 out of all 18 teams will have a 3-2 record (3W, 2L) by round 5 which just reflects how tight the competition has been so far. Also Eddie Betts kicked 6 goals in his 300th game with possibly goal of the season as his 6th goal! streamable.com/3fld8

As of the end of round 7 I have 37 tips.
Essendon by 12 Brisbane Collllingwoooood Melbourne Wet Toast Port Adelaide Geelong Beer Wine and Spirits Fremantle
Players to remark on so far this season (too late to be bothered to do everyone but just a few important): Alex Pearce (and Hamling): Cemented his claim as one of the leagues best defenders, has barely lost a one-on-one all year and continues to completely silence key forwards. The Port Adelaide First Years: Rozee, Butters and Duursma all showing their skills at a very young age. Alongside Travis Boak (got to include him) who's having the season of his career so far; Port Adelaide's forward line is looking potent long into the future. Tom Stewart: excellent defender for Geelong this season and like Pearce has shown his worth to the whole league. Mitch "Professional Fortnite Player" Robinson: looked awesome in every game with consistent high possessions, strong tackling/pressure and a few goals.

Round 10 Year-So-Far Report Card: Of course these ratings are a combination of pre-season expectations and actual form.
Adelaide: C+, decent year but they've haven't looked great against the top teams, I still think they'll struggle to make the top 8. Brisbane: A, exceeding expectations and have looked consistently good, greatly improved midfield and attack have allowed them to swiftly leap up the ladder. Carlton: C-, around what everyone expected especially with a hugely depleted backline in recent weeks Carlton have also pulled off a number of honourable losses in between their big losses (big loss to the Kangaroos, close loss to Collingwood, big loss to GWS, close loss to the Saints). Shows their inconsistency but it's good to see their new players getting introduced to the game and getting played a decent amount! Collingwood: B+, what everyone expected and a bit more; a very dominant season with losses to Geelong and West Coast (who are great and good teams respectively). Essendon: D, once again very unpredictable and unable to string together wins. Also lots of injuries to key players don't help. Fremantle: B-, exceeding expectations but still have a lot to improve, the easiness for the forwardline to pretty much not do anything needs to be eliminated. On the other hand the defence and midfield have pretty much performed well or near-prefectly with the trio of Hamling, Pearce and Ryan looking excellent in full-back. Geelong: A+, fucking amazing season, the genius idea to spread their best players out across the team and throw less experienced players into the midfield (the guts) was a risk worth taking. It's taken them from a very top heavy team into a ridiculously even side, the rise of Tom Stewart in defence has taken cre of their occasional defensive problems last season and Tom Hawkins having another great season (he never fucking stops) up forward. Gold Coast: C+, good first few rounds but have been in patchy form since. Still good to see that the culture and coaching has greatly improved and its been shown the performances with players looking hungry and determined to play, in progress but it's good to see Gold Coast turning the corner. GWS: B+, very good season with Jeremy Cameron at a personal best so far. A couple of weak losses but they looked good to play top 6 and maybe top 4 by the end of the year. Hawthorn: C, I have no idea if they'll turn out good, stay inconsistent or turn bad, but I'll lean towards the first option. Their midfield is still very inexperienced but their skeleton from their great years (08-15) still holds and Clarkson is still the best coach maybe ever. Melbourne: F, fucking R.I.P, after all the great expectations for this year they sit at 16th with 3 wins, 7 losses and 75%. Wasted potential with a hugely missfiring forwardline and very leaky backline, even the midfield is having its problems. Melbourne have rapidly gone from sitting in a great position to win this year, to being in the dumps by round 10 North Melbourne: D, not too far from what everyone expected but they still look like a rabble most weeks; a surprise to see they were the first team to "sack" their coach but they probably needed the change. Port Adelaide: B-, showing promise (and I predicted them to be like 16th this year) but still inconsistent, their forwardline at least shows a lot of promise and the trio of Duursma, Rozee and Butters is definitely going to lead them over the next decade. Richmond: A, to be 7-3 after round 10 with the amount of injuries they have is amazing. Very scary to see how much they'll improve when players start flooding back in, that's if they can get their spots back due to how good their replacements have been so far! Saints: B, far above any expectations, at 5-5 we've won more games than last year 4-1-17 and are a much more well-oiled machine. Seems like the additions to coaching have greatly improved the team, especially that we've lost McCartin, Geary, Hannebery, Carlisle, Roberton and Steven (probably 6 of our best 10 players!). Sydney: C-, I expected this huge drop in form, finally Sydney aren't good. They look slow, tired and clusmy with only a few bright sparks in Lloyd, Papley, Aliir and Heeney. West Coast: C+, still look like they're playing at 50% even with a fit team; don't look like they can play a full game as a team yet. Don't look very leathal either but are somehow sitting at 7-3 with 101% (which is very low for a team with 7 wins and 3 losses). Western Bulldogs: C, another inconsistent team and kind of where I thought they would be at the beginning of the season.
