Looks like we could get a good amount of rainfall over the next few days. Even tropical development possible in the Gulf next week!

Got to 87 (31 C) today with dews in the high 60s. Upper 80s and low 90s forecast until Thursday.
The 1st week of September is definitely still summer here. The first 9 days of September also have warmer average highs than the first 9 days of June.
If the forecast comes true, this should be the 6th straight September to hit 90...September would be the only month to hit 90 every year since 2013!

Fall has come with a vengeance in Saskatoon this year. The first half of August had mostly above average temperatures (including our strongest heatwave in a decade), but that quickly dropped off and now we've had mostly high teens/low 20s Celsius temperatures for the past week or so, and the warmest day in the forecast has a high of 21C with most days being below 20C. On top of that, the leaves are rapidly turning yellow now, a couple weeks ahead of schedule.
We did have an early and solid start to summer and some pretty epic unexpected weather this summer, so the early fall really doesn't bother me too much. Plus I'm looking forward to hopefully actually having an extended period of mild shoulder season weather - this past spring basically didn't exist, we went from mostly below freezing in April to mostly in the mid-20s Celsius in May, so some temperatures in the 10C - 20C range are quite welcome for me.

I've got no days with highs below 20°C in the forecast and a few days at 23-24°C. Normal highs in the time period should be 16-18°C. When is enough enough? This isn't Mexico.

We've hit 90 in every meteorological summer month this decade, but in 2011 and 2015 the highest temperature of the year occurred in September. 90s forecast the next 3 days here, and 86 or higher through next weekend.

It's now a tropical depression; I'm right in the projected path. I wonder if it could over-achieve and become a weak hurricane. TS Watches issued for the southeast Louisiana coast.

Yesterday finished at 88/73 (31/23 C), the warmest September low since 2013.
As of 1 PM today it’s already at 91 (33 C). This is now the 6th straight September to hit 90.
Also, today is the 20th 90+ of the year. 2018 now joins 1941, 1944, 1947, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1959, 1973, 1978, 1988, 2002 and 2016 as the only years with 20+ 90s.
If it doesn’t get any warmer today or get any cooler overnight our first 3 days of September would be:
87/67 88/73 91/73
After Thursday it looks like pretty average low to mid 70s for awhile.
