Today's daily high peaked up to 22.8°C, first time reaching above 21°C since the 10th of October. Felt sort of annoyed to have warm air permeated again. All I want for this time of the year is a stable cool weather.

Got to 61 (16 C) today. First 60 f since the 19th.
Also the first above average high since the 19th!
Despite the cold last 2/3, this month will finish slightly above average. Barring a low well below the forecast, the mean will finish at 50.9 (10.5 C), which is 0.3 f above average.
This extends the streak of above average Octobers to 9 and the streak of above average months to 6.

Looks like we will hold on to the positive anomoly for the month, LGA and Central Park both a bit above average. LGA will finish at around +2F, while Central Park will be at like +1F. Above average, though pales in comparison to the recent Torchtobers we've had. October hasn't been below average since 2009 (!!!)
