- Firebird should post that stuff in the relevant thread, it says in the title this is a discussion thread. - Baba stop being a dick. Fin. What does discussion entail though? I'm being serious.. If you've made it this far in life without being able to figure out what a discussion entails, then I can't help you.

Around mid-November the models have thicknesses down to about 522 here with 850mb temps at -5C with some healthy precipitation, which means it would most likely snow here if it verified.

It's still meteorologically summer in southernmost Sweden according to SMHI's way of defining summer and fall... The light beige color means it's still summer, but they had a fall day. They need 7 in a row for it to become fall. (Mean<10'C). Average arrival of fall for southernmost Sweden is 10-15th October.

Tornado struck Wednesday night which tracked through Alexandria. It wasn't too far from where I live. Some intense lightning as the supercell passed through and strong wind gusts but not much damage around my house other than a few limbs down. NWS is rating it an EF2. An EF1 struck Alexandria in April of last year.

Sub-freezing lows being recorded all over the place and the Swedish Bureau of Derpology still think it's summer

Those arbitrary "it hasn't been below 10 C for so and so consecutive days" thresholds are fucking stupid.

Yeah right it’s summer in November in fucking Sweden. SMHI are fucking morons.
Is it cooler than summer? Are the leaves changing? Are the days getting shorter?
Obviosly so it’s clearly fall.
Did you get a random number of days below a random ass temp? Who cares.
Sounds like Swedish Boteving to me...
Meanwhile it’s in the low 50s, overcast with on and off drizzle for the...I lost count, it’s been this same shit every fucking day for 3 weeks except Tuesday with no end in sight.

Steelernation Well maybe since summers in Sweden are so cold they can’t tell the difference between “summer” and below 0C temps.

I think they should use highs to define summer. 16/4 and sun can feel like summer in spring here but 12/8 and rain? Nah.

Or not use some arbitrary bullshit. It's definitely not summer in southern Sweden in the middle of October, nor is it summer during mid-late April either.

Those arbitrary "it hasn't been below 10 C for so and so consecutive days" thresholds are fucking stupid. How do they come up this thershoold, like if "we get 6 days of 10°C it's still summer, but 7 is too much?". It must all exactly be in a row, one outlier with a 11°C day means the count is reset. Some guy sitting in an office has a job to come up these random stats? How's the start of summer defined then?
