Winter NSW 2019 Wishcast; June, July, August: Maximum Temperatures: Greatly Below Average Minimum Temperatures: At or Below Average Precipitation: Greatly Above Average The ideal result would be a repeat of the epic 1900 and 1901 winters. Winters have been rather warm and absurdly snow-less recently, so I wish for an event like the Central Western July 5th 1900 Snowstorm. Crookwell, NSW in 1901: Rydal, NSW in 1900 (Snowstorm of the Century; "piled eight feet deep upon the railway"; depiction):

Early start, stable winter weather by late November. Snowy December followed by a frigid January. I like February to be sunny as the darkness really starts taking its toll by then. March should be warmer than the rest unlike last year.

YES YES YES to that but sadly it would seem extremely unlikely given how mild the second half of October and the first half of November have been. Then it'll take time for it to even remotely freeze to a -3ยฐC monthly mean anytime this winter.
My wishcast would be:
December: 0/-5, 50 mm precipitation; 35 cm snow
January: -2/-8, 32 mm precipitation; 29 cm snow February: 0/-8; 30 mm precipitation; 26 cm snow March: 7/-3; 13 mm precipitation; 3 cm snow
My guess on the other hand:
December: 5/1; 35 mm precipitation; 5 cm snow January: 3/-1; 40 mm precipitation; 13 cm snow February: 2/-3; 31 mm precipitation; 17 cm snow March: 6/-1; 23 mm precipitation; 6 cm snow
In other words, only about 60 % of the normal snow yield.

So no gigantic red dot over Tucson and Mount Lemmon then? Giorbanguly
Otherwise looks like hot tubs in store for the polar bears this winter up my latitudes...

It's a while off, i'd like a winter with normal temps and above average precipitation: june and august being above average and july being record cold (for the 1993-2017 period).
June: 20.1/10.0, 140mm, 155 hours July: 16.4/8.6, 220mm, 110 hours August: 19.9/8.1, 100mm, 230 hours

My wishcast is basically the opposite of what we've seen over the past decade. PV over the PNW while the east roasts for 10 years.
