That's crazy, 30°C right up to the northern coast. These places have average summer highs in the 10-12°C range and record highs of 34+°C.

Looks like Yakutsk and Verkhoyansk have a shot at 100F (38C) in a couple of days.

^What a dud. Yakutsk reached 35.0c and Verkhoyansk 33.9c.
Neither were even daily records, both were off by couple tenths of a degree c though.
Seymchan's forecast is about 35c today the 9th. Has a chance of an all-time record, but probably will end up another dud.

Here are the longer-ranged forecasts for South Georgia; with forecasts like these, they do indeed dispute the cretinous notion that "maritime climates cannot have cold winters", as most seem to think—when in fact, Grytviken receives far more snowfall than the likes of Upstate NY: Grytviken, South Georgia, South Atlantic Ocean; 4 m AMSL; 54° 16' 51.96" S.
Mount Paget, South Georgia, South Atlantic Ocean; 2,933 m AMSL; 54° 26' 26.88" S.

About only 10% of possible sunshine in the next 8-day forecast. High temperatures can't even reach near the July average. Surprisingly pretty warm in the north, -1.2 and -0.8 hours of sun? sounds like they're owing a debt lol.

I don't know if there is any accurate forecasts for this place, but the forecast for this time of year in Ostrov Vize, Russia, is +1/-1, cloudy with chance of drizzle or light snow. The max so far this year is +2, and it is between +2 and -2 all month so far. OGIMET
The northernmost Russian weather station with data on Ogimet is 20046, Polargmo Im. E. T. Krenkelja at 80.6N. It's reached +3.7 this year and had a nasty storm this summer. Wnd gust of 130km/h, temperature of 0, and a rain/snow mix: OGIMET JUNE 8TH
Ostrov Golomjannyj (20087) is at 79.6N and claims a high of 20.7 but the data is not right. Ushakova Island is at 80.8N but no data.

record low for Norilsk is 0°C, so snow can't happen that often there. Siberia looks cold, must be related to the same pattern creating Scandinavia warmth [/spoile]

According to Ogimet, it snowed for 2 hours on Saturday morning. Max was 15 C though so it probably melted really fast.
