central PA got a tornado today! One had a ten mile track. Especially impressive since the area was elevated, at 2000 feet. Usually higher elevation plateaus get less severe thunderstorms Speagles84

Ironic that it landed in "Worlds End State Park "

Another severe weather event for the Deep South tomorrow. SPC mentioning the possibility of an upgrade to Moderate risk. I wouldn't be too surprised if the severe storms don't really materialize until they get to my east. The highest threat in my area looks to be around noon.

I think today's our first 20'C too. Haven't really been keeping an eye on them. Highs aren't in but a couple places have recorded hourly readings above 20'C (Sala and Örebro)

Babu I was going to say you're tied with me, but Milwaukee has had two. 73F/23C on April 8th and yesterday when it reached 68F/20C at 11pm before dropping again. Madison has only had one 20C day so far, the 8th. It won't be too long before I blow you away though. Sunday should reach 20C. Wikipedia says the record high in April is 21.5C, so congratulations on almost breaking a monthly record!

Had a heavy storm yesterday with some strong wind. Saw a tree down close to where I work and heard a transformer blowing. Looks like Mississippi got the brunt of the severe weather, as I was expecting. Damaging tornadoes around Jackson. Moderate risk for Yahya Sinwar today. Damaging winds looks like the biggest threat. Tornadoes also a threat, but no hatched area for EF2-EF5 potential.

Classic spring weather this week with coolish mornings and cool to mild afternoons. Pretty comfortable on the whole. Mix of sun and clouds. Got a wild thunderstorm the other night (the storms that brought tornadoes to PA).
71 F/22 C now and very windy. Mostly cloudy but sun is peaking out. Flash Flood Watch for tonight and early tomorrow with another chance of thunderstorms.

wow still lots of snow up there higher depths than Mt. Washington because it's not as wind exposed? Above treeline in the Whites often has wind blasting the snow off the peaks. Mount Mansfield must be the snowiest spot in New England outside the highest Whites peaks

Umeå Aiport's warmest this year is just 16.7'C

I've noticed spring tends to have some cloudy streaks. Everything started blooming this week. No more freezing nights in the forecast. Last freeze was April 5th.

Even during warm and sunny spells, the wind patterns seemingly can't help but produce "Aprilväder" Babu, this is just hilarious! Forecast for Nyköping on Sunday: How on earth am I going to plan the bike ride then with the wind all over the place? Crazy.

Very warm week here. DMK officially had a 30.0 C low yesterday morning and the high today could have exceeded 40 C (not a record but close). These high temps have been combined with dewpoints as high as 29 C:
