Very springlike. The Trondheim area seems to be the warmest today. Chilly in the Norfffffff. I assume the -12°C station on the northern coast is an error?

Yes. I think it should read +12.4.

Fourth 80°F of the year yesterday. Unfortunately the thunderstorms that formed to the west died into just showers by the time they got here.

Not only that, but the red area means that summer started at least 5 days ago haha

Another warm afternoon. IDK what's wrong with that one station. Warmest in Finland today was Lahti with 21.8C.

We've literally gone from having a snow cover to the first leaves on trees in 1-2 weeks

Mean temp deviation this spring (from March 1) compared to 61-90. Slightly above average here for 91-18, a bit more in the SW. Spring preciptatin deviation. Shit map doesn't tell if it's 100% or 150% lol. Quite a difference over two months. Here's just April. Tbh nothing special here. We've had quite epic heat waves though, similar to both February and March. Very dry though. Umeå is one of the wetter areas and we've only got 10% lol.

The haze was so strong today that it felt like overcast. Some of it was cloud, sure, but not all. So we didn't even hit 20C.

old forecast image for Northampton, MA; rather stable temperatures. No April heatwaves or freezes. Good for plant growth, so extra heat could let it arrive faster really gloomy and wet next week. Yuck

Felt like Bangkok. Most of it dissipated come the afternoon. Read an article on Norway's national news site about Saharan dust. Don't know if it was that or something else.

Lasted all day here. Hiromant mentioned something about forest fires in Russia and Ukraine. And the winds blew from the east here.

We’re now forecast to get a 40 f high and an inch of snow on Sunday. If only it was 2 days later that would be a May snow.
The forecast is disgusting—rainy and stable every day with barely anything over 60.
