Fucking useless garbage fucking climate here. The cold front that was being shown for next week got completely eliminated, and the cool (relative) weather they were showing two weeks out has been upgraded to 77/61 lame ass shit. Fuck this fucking stupid fuck climate. Its a shame you don't like the beach as much as I do. I'd be enjoying the continued desirable ocean swimming conditions there right now.

I like the beach during summer, but in November I'm not exactly in beach mode anymore lol. In fact, I haven't been to the beach since June 2016. Well actually, I went to the beach when I was in Europe back in May, but I haven't been to a Florida beach in well over a year.

We've had a really sunny start to November here, 46.2 hours after the 12th might not sound huge but it's 74% of our total average sunshine for the month after 40% of the days.
Only 9.8 mm of rain so far in what's usually a wet month as well, Albermarle near Newcastle has only had 0.8 mm!

Today had some wet snow mixed with drizzle this morning. A very thin dusting of snow was on the ground at around 7 AM.
0.07โ (2 mm) of precipitation fell, so probably only a few tenths of an inch (~1 cm) of snow fell.
High of 43 (6 C) so far after a low of 34 (1 C) and overcast all day.

0.6โ (1.5 cm) of snow yesterday. That was the 3rd snowfall of the season and brought the monthly total to 2.1โ (5 cm).
There was also 0.35โ (9 mm) if precipitation yesterday, bringing the monthly total to 3.91โ (99 mm). Thatโs over twice the average to date.
That amount has fallen on 11 days >1 mm. Thatโs equal to the average for the entire month.

Multiple thunderstorm chances for me this week in Florida I expect that for my summer trips, not so much for Thanksgiving. Going to be warm and wet with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the lows in the low 60s for the most part.

I have only seen maybe two thunderstorms this fall. It's been quite dry; I have only measured 2.11 inches in my gauge since Sept 1st. Pretty much no chance of rain in the forecast right now.

Cool front keeps getting pushed further and further back. Yesterday was showing 75/59 weather for Thursday and now it's showing 80/67 until Saturday but it does gave it cooling off by Sunday. How come cool fronts can't ever come in on Thursday or Friday so it can be cool for Friday//Saturday?
Anyways one guarantee down here for sure. Above average weather. Always a fucking guarantee is this pathetic dump of a climate.

from vรคderbloggen today. quite a co-incidence since we discussed gielas and swedish november temperatures in the chatbox yesterday. Last night on November 21, the temperature fell to -30.3Cยฐ in Gielas in the southern Lapland mountains. This is the season's lowest temperature yet so far, but not noteworthy for the second half of November. If we take a historical view, we can see that the temperature drops below -30Cยฐ at at least some Swedish stations in six out of ten november months. However, it has not happened in recent years, and we must go back to 2012 when Karesuando had -32.4 ยฐ on November 30th. Temperatures below -35Cยฐ in November occur, but are quite rare. On average, they occur 3 november months out of 10. By 2010, Nikkaluokta had -36.6 Cยฐ on November 24th. The Swedish cold record for November is from 1890 For temperatures lower than that, the probability decreases rapidly. Temperatures below -40Cยฐ in November have only occurred once. It was 1890 when Vittangi noted the Swedish cold record for November with -43Cยฐ on November 24-26. At the same time, Karesuando had -41Cยฐ and Sรคrna in Dalarna -36Cยฐ, which is Svealands November record. In more modern times, a value of -39.6Cยฐ was recorded in Laxbรคcken in Lapland, 28 November 1980. Also worth mentioning is that as early as the 4 November 1952, it was -39.0Cยฐ in Nikkaluokta.

They provided a picture of the station, and it looks to be situated on a small hill, so it shouldn't be a frost hollow at least.

if you check the larger area it still is low-lying compared to the surroundings, and thus in a depression prone to inverson.

Tomorrow the sun angle at Treriksrรถset (Sweden's northernmost point) will hit 1.1ยฐ in sun angle, closing in rapidly on going beneath 1ยฐ as peak sun angle and therefore being as good as polar night already...
