It has been a gloomy day today with literally 35 minutes of sunshine. Very unusual for this time of year. In fact it even briefly drizzled earlier in the day as well.

Peak autumn colour already in Kilpisjärvi, northern Finland! If you look at this webcam timelapse over the past 12 months it's surprising that trees even survive there at all with such a short growing season, they were all completely bare in early June and going by last year they'll be completely bare again before the end of September.
