@qidb602
SeaTac seems more representative of the city since it has warmer lows (and warmer highs). Why not use the Boeing airport station? Seems like it would be the best of the available stations I've found.

Summary: Was overall a hot and dry month, not much in the way of extreme heat (with the exception of the July 19 - 21 heat wave), but very consistently hot. Had some cool nights as well, diurnal ranges were a bit higher than normal. Had twelve straight 90+ F (32.2 C) days, which easily could've been a lot more if not for some cooler interludes. Had a big rain even on the 8th of July, were 44% of the month's rainfall fell on that one day. Had some other strong storms as well but all were short-lived. Overall, a great summer month temperature-wise, but underwhelming in the precipitation department. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Average High: 90.9 F (32.7 C) (3.0 F / 1.7 C above normal) (87.9 F (31.1 C)) Mean: 79.2 F (26.2 C) (2.5 F / 1.4 C above normal) (76.7 F (24.8 C)) Average Low: 67.4 F (19.7 C) (1.9 F / 1.06 C above normal) (65.5 F (18.6 C)) Precipitation: 2.73"/69 mm; average is 3.67"/93 mm so 0.94" (24 mm) below average Highest High: 100 F (37.8 C) on the 21st Highest Low: 74 F (23.3 C) on the 18th and 20th Highest Daily Mean: 86 F (30.0 C) on the 20th and 21st Lowest High: 77 F (25.0 C) on the 8th and 23rd Lowest Low: 58 F (14.4 C) on the 1st Lowest Daily Mean: 71 F (21.7 C) on the 8th Days at or above 25 C (77 F): 31 Days at or above 30 C (86 F): 28 Days at or above 90 F (32.2 C): 21 Days at or above 35 C (95 F): 8 Days at or above 100 F (37.8 C): 1 Here's the data:

Seems like it would be the best of the available stations I've found. It is well-known among weather reporters in Seattle that SeaTac is not representative because recent years have SeaTac much warmer than all other nearby stations, even stations just a few blocks away. There is likely something malfunctioning about SeaTac's weather station, or a problem due to winds blowing over the pavement at SeaTac. www.seattleweatherblog.com/warm-weather/seattle-weather-station-inaccurate-temperatures/Boeing Field is not recorded on the NWS website so I'd rather just use a combination of SeaTac and WFO Seattle at Sand Point. In reality, none of the stations are representative of my location.

Finally adding my own locale to the summaries. It's annoying because there is missing data (sometimes days are missing when there is a big rain event), so I have to use both stations to fill in the gaps. And of course the microclimate of YVR

Update - Trondheim and a few cities in Norway.
The first week of July had cold NW air straight from the Greenland Sea at us, stayed for days and days. Probably coldest July week ever recorded (no record lows broken though), and mostly overcast. Avg high was just 12.7°C for first week. The 3. July had high just 10°C.
The 7-days from 24th - 30th had avg high 31.5°C (!) and must be the warmest 7-day period recorded. Five consecutive days above 32°C. Completely bipolar July temps.
Precip was 61 %.
33.5°C is new all-time high for the weather station at the airport (recording since 46), but not for the city. The warmest low was 22°C.
May was cold and coudy (-0.8°C using 86-2015 which has mean 9.2°C) June was wet and fairly cloudy but slightly above avg (+1.4°C using 86-2015) July ended very slightly above avg (+0.6°C) compared to 86-2015 base period, but clearly above avg using the colder 1961-90 (+1.7°C).
Stavanger on the SW coast. Sunshine data from Bergen airport. Also a cold May. Wet July (121 %).
Drammen near Oslo: Avg high: 24.1°C Avg low: 13°C Mean: 18.2°C Abs high: 31.8°C Abs low: 5.9°C Precip: 50.3 mm (93 %) Precip days: 6 Sunhours: 260 (data from nearby Oslo)
Tromsø was sunniest with 307 sunhrs. The abs high for the country was at Mosjøen airport in Northern Norway at nearly 66°N with 35°C / 96°F - tie with national all-time high for July.
Mosjøen: Avg high: 20.4°C Avg low: 10.4°C Mean: 15.2°C Abs high: 35°C Abs low: 4.2°C Precip: 21 mm
In the Arctic, Svalbard Airport/Longyearbyen had avg high 10.4°C and mean 8.4 (+2.5°C using 61-90), second warmest July after 2016; now 104 consecutive months above average.
Edit: Also July recorded the warmest night ever in Norway, with Sømna-Kvaløyfjellet (302 m) recording a low of 26.1°C. Old record 25.5C low in Halden.
Saltdal in the Arctic Circle recorded a high of 34.6°C.

July in Malta was above average, caused mostly by a heatwave at the start of the month & another hot spell towards the end. The middle of the month saw a cooler few days with some cloud & even some very rare for July rainfall on one day, it was the most rain I have recorded for the month since living here. The cloudy weather meant that sunshine was slightly below average. Stats from my PWS in St. Paul's Bay Average High: 33.8C (+1.5C) Average Low: 26.5C (+1.8C) Overall Mean: 30.2C (+1.7C) Highest Max: 37.8C (10th) Lowest Min: 24.1C (19th) Lowest Max: 29.7C (16th) Highest Min: 29.3C (10th) Rainfall: 1.5mm (750%) Days with Rain: 1 Sunshine: 368.0hrs (96%) Max UV: 11.7 (8th) Min UV: 8.5 (19th)

JULY 2019 - Speagles84's House Western Pennsylvania
Warmer than average month, warmest July in many years, even though it wasn't THAT far above average. No 90's, but the heat index did top 100F for the first time since 2003.

Max: 99 Min: 62 Min High: 82 Mean- 81.5 Avg High Departure from Normal- +2.5 Avg Min Departure from Normal- +0.5 Mean Departure from Normal- +1.5 Precip Departure- -1.10 , was a stormy month however and based on nearby stations receiving 2-5 inches more than RDU may have been more the airport missing on pop-up storms rather than a truly dry month.

Interesting how the max min and min min were side by side (and max max).
