Wow, you were really lucky with the sunset! Amazing, nei! notice that conifers are at higher elevations than deciduous trees. Easy to see in the photos of mountainsides as the green conifers are above red decideous trees. Hopefully I'll post more this weekend but I want to get some Norway photos posted first.

^^ Looking towards this kind of landscape now! Took these on October 13, it was 25°C+ and rather humid that day. Got rained on doing tree climbing: Was in the Brive area in SW France this weekend. Virtually no colors yet! Even plane trees still have their leaves.

Photos from 10/23/2019 Taken outside my work, up the hill on my lunchtime walk. City of Pittsburgh and UHI at full peak, if not a smidge beyond now On the way home, about 10 mins from my house. My area is really starting to look past peak now As much as I'm looking forward to winter, its always sad to see the colors go. Photos from yesterday 10/30/2019. Took pictures in the same spot on my way home to compare. Last week: Green / Turning / Color / High Color / Peak / Past Peak / Fading / Gone This week: Green / Turning / Color / High Color / Peak / Past Peak / Fading / Gone Sad to see the colors go, so brown already. At least winter is just about here
So subtropical looking, ay AJ1013 Is Lemmonaide past peak as well?

^While Germany has had temperatures consistently above average now for what, half a year, we have been below average for more than a month now.
Today Nov 3th. in Trondheim, after the coldest night so far this autumn. Just started on one of the most boring months of the year.
Elms are completely bare, but silver birch still keeping some leafs on
Larch, Silver birch the two with most color left, a little also on beech and alder. Most native trees are now all bare, silver birch being the large exception, and of course grey alder which cheats.
Nice frost on the gras
