Snow totals from the October 30/31 storm. Significant snow in October is rare, and so was the ice day I had on the 31st. Usually the first large snowfall is in December. |

30 F (-1.1 C) with a 27 F (-2.8 C) dew point this morning, first freeze of the season! Finally! Only 16 days later than normal, lol.
Today will be beautiful, cool, and sunny with a high of 53 F (11.7 C) predicted.

Today will be beautiful, cool, and sunny with a high of 53 F (11.7 C) predicted. Hit freezing here before you did! Got down to 32F yesterday morning (normal first frost is Nov 11-20). Warmed up to 59F yesterday. Oct 31 had a cooler high (55F). Frost on the ground yesterday morning.  |

I forgot to add the picture. It's posted now. 5 to 7 inches in southeast wisconsin, 5.5"/14cm in Milwaukee.
Edit: it's a facebook post, but I don't see any political comments on the first page. The only dumb one is "the city should pick up the leaves before it snows." The leaves were still attached to the tree.

Yeah, that seems to be the theme this autumn, places way to my south getting freeze before me  , it's possible my location got a freeze on October 19th (Dulles hit 33 F that morning, my car marked 31 F around where I live and we had heavy frost) but I'm not gonna say we had a freeze that day since it's not on paper. You guys were hit with the cold snap before I was. Now, we have multiple freezes in the forecast. 52 F here as of 3 pm, with sunny skies and a 29 F dew point. Low tonight is predicted at 33 F, we could get another freeze tonight. A freeze, and maybe a hard freeze, is forecast tomorrow with a predicted low of 27 F (-2.8 C; per TWC). |

Another freeze this morning, currently 32 F (0.0 C) with a 27 F (-2.8 C) dew point and clear skies, should be lovely today with a high of 52 F (11.1 C) and sunny.  |

Got down to 34F last night; some frost this morning. Got up to 65F today.
Warmer temps the next few days with another cold front coming later in the week. Lows forecast in the 30's again Friday night.

First 20s of the year here, with a 28 F (-2.2 C) temp this morning! Heavy frost outside. Today will warm up a lot with a high of 59 F (15 C) predicted.

55 F (12.8 C) with a 32 F (0.0 C) dew point here after a 60 F (15.6 C) high, tonight's low is forecast at 38 F (3.3 C) with partly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow will be seasonable with sunny skies and highs of 61 F (16.1 C). Getting much colder later next week.
