NWS says 6-14β of snow by Friday. Wide range and spread out currently but it could end up being the first interesting snow event since November.
Forecast keeps getting colder too. I say good, bring on the cold when itβs winter so March can be mild.

Not getting colder here unfortunately, gonna get up to 60 F tomorrow but we have a heavy rain event moving in with 2-3" predicted for tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night. Gonna get quite muddy here. Saturday and Sunday look seasonable with highs in the low-mid 40s and lows around 30 F, still above average, but back to 50s next week and might even get close to 60 F.

It was 71F at noon today then dropped to 48F by around 5 PM. Strong storms missed me, though there were a number of hail reports in the area from storms to my west. Some tornadoes in MS.
Forecast high of 47F tomorrow then a freeze predicted tomorrow night. Thursday is really the only chilly day. 60's for Friday and the weekend, and next week is looking warm and wet.

Adirondacks getting a little but less than the Whites, maybe it's all snow as you go further west?

Supposed to be a round of snow tonight, then a wintry mix tomorrow then a heavier round of snow into Friday.

Impressively warm (relatively speaking) back home in Christchurch with a high of 35.6 C. Also, had three 30+ C days in a row and even a low over 20 C! I wish I had visited this week rather than that subarctic October. But needless to say, it didn't take long for the SW change to ruin it: Here in Bangkok, just business as usual:

It's too early to tell, of course, but February so far seems like it's on track to be roughly average. It's definitely nowhere near the level of cold we had the past two years, which is very much appreciated.

Several inches (3-4) fell here overnight, turned to freezing rain during the day.
Now NWS says 9-16β by tomorrow night. About time!
Meanwhile, lots of places in Texas and Oklahoma had a snowstorm yesterday. Over 3β in lots of places, 6-10β in the center of the storm.
Midland, Texas had 7.9β of snow, their first snow since 2016. Already their snowiest February since records began in 1948.

^ I'm often jealous of your climate. Of course, temps near -40 C are quite brutal but I want to experience a brutal winter. Winters here are too tame. 46/37 here today, with 0.6" (15 mm) of rain so far: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KIAD.htmlTemps are due to increase a bit as the night goes on, forecast is calling for it to go up to 52 F by 2 am, and then a cold front comes through and temps drop to near 40 F for most of the morning/afternoon. Below freezing predicted for tomorrow night and Saturday night.

Cyclone watch: Cyclone Damien developed in the Kimberley region of western australia and moved over the Indian Ocean on the 6th of February. There, it intesified with very warm ocean waters to its current levels of Category 3. It was previously forecast to land somewhere between karratha and port hedland (check map) but has been adjusted to hit slightly east of Karratha at Wickham as a Category 4. Hopefully everyone's okay in the area. They are used to cyclonic activity but this one is pretty strong. www.bom.gov.au/products/IDW60281.shtml

Much warmer than I was expecting this morning, 57 F (13.9 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) dew point, rain is pouring outside though and it's very windy. Temperature is due to drop as the day goes on though, as winds will shift to the W/NW and temps will drop to around 40 F (4.4 C) by late morning. Dropping below freezing tonight.
