Can they be wrong? P.S. April is below average in Latvia and May looks not good as well. Oh certainly. Its just a prediction based on a bunch of models - surely could change.
Its just frustrating because Winter NEVER came (I love winter), and November has not left. April highs are running -6F, so far April has been 54.4F/34.5F here, much more similar to November or March - And only 1 day above 70F so far which is quite rare by this point in the year.
Nov 2019 43.6F/24.3F - Mean 33.9F (7.4F below average) Dec 2019 39.7F/24.1F - Mean 31.9F (1.3F above average) Jan 2020 38.2F/23.5F - Mean 30.9F (5.2F above average) Feb 2020 38.2F/21.0F - Mean 29.6F (1.2F above average) Mar 2020 51.1F/30.6F - Mean 40.9F (3.0F above average) Apr 2020 54.4F/34.5F - Mean 44.4F (-5.2F below average)
Literally every month of the last 6 has been within 15F, which is kind of crazy considering January's mean is 25.7F and April should be 49.7F - Nearly 25F difference in means.
Its frustrating because I love winter to start early and end promptly and have a nice spring but so often anymore we rarely get that. Cold late falls, warm winters, and cold springs making it seem like a winterless cold season that extends for the majority of the year.
We've had similar anomalies but since our averages are about 10-15F warmer, it hasn't been as annoying, and March and April felt like genuinely nice months 80% of the time.
I remember 2012-2013 was annoying in the Raleigh area because our averages were very similar for five months, and we were stuck in a pseudo-winter where it was consistently cool but too mild for any significant snow. The averages for the five month period were as follows: Nov 2012 47.6F Dec 2012 49.3F
Jan 2013 44.4F
Feb 2013 42.1F
Mar 2013 44.9F
March was especially annoying because it felt no different from the past two months. I wouldn't mind 44.4F as an average temp for March in an absolute sense, but I want March to be noticeably warmer than January and February.
Anyway, the dewpoints have been in the 40s F the past couple days, which has been nice. But it's supposed to heat up to around 90F (32C) the next four days with dews rising to around 60F (16C). I guess the hot air over Arizona is making its way east.

We hit an hourly reading of 27.5C at 4pm and 5pm today, our warmest high of the year and since mid-September. With a high of -13.2C on the 1st of the month, this means the difference between our coldest and warmest highs in April is over 40 degrees Celsius, quite a large difference even by our standards.

GFS no longer shows -10°C 850 mb temperatures for Vermont weekend after next; still looks like it'll be cold for May

chilly rainy day; warmed up around sunset. Stopped raining mid afternoon, another bout of warmer more intense rain coming next morning will almost feel muggy after the rain is over; mid 50s dews and temperatures in the mid 60s; then Saturday drier air from the north but still warm in the mid 60s, Sunday may break 70

Very nice by May 1st standards here, low of 63 F (17.2 C) and still only 67 F (19.4 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) dew point. Today's predicted high is 84 F (28.9 C) with sunny skies. Low 60s (16-17 C) predicted tonight again here.

Feels like I'm being trolled by the weather at this point. High in the low 50s at my house, but lets see the rest of the region? 69F in Marquette Michigan 65F in Green Bay 62F in Boston 65F in Philadelphia Literally the only place as cool as me is Maine. Even Fucking Buffalo and Rochester have a higher temperature forecasted than me

Well, regarding snowfall here…that was an absolute fizzer for my local micro-climate. No more than 4 cm from that (event total; since 30 April). It appears that the precipitation yesterday was just too far west, not even touching the SW Slopes—even Cabramurra only got 4.6 mm of total precip yesterday. Hunters Hill (981 m) in Victoria got 20 mm yesterday with 1° C temps, so likely a heavy fall of snow out there. At least the cold didn't fizzle out; reached a max temp of just 0.4° C yesterday, which is very cold for the start of May. Also my first freezing-point max temp of 2020. However, major snowfalls about the alps (especially those in Victoria):

Foehn winds here, from the polar vortex. Windy and clear conditions on the lee side of the mountains.

Just remnants of a warmer past meshing with a colder new norm... This is just the start knot. Get ready for a snowy winter.

Tomorrow will be the hottest day of the year so far in this area. Forecast says 75f (24c) here and 79f (26c) in NYC. It's going to be a "stay inside" day.
After that we will return to decent weather, 50s and overcast for a while.

High was 68 (20 c) today. Overcast with some light sprinkles but for the most part a nice, warm and dry day.
I mowed my lawn for the first time since late October today. Grass has been growing a lot.
However, the 10-day forecast is absolute garbage with several fucking mid 40s highs at the end of the forecast. If it’s gonna be so shitty, I’m gonna root for it to at least set some cold records or snow so then it’ll be interesting, awful cold rather than boring, awful cold.

High of 79°F today, so the wait for 80 continues. It was a nice mostly sunny day.

74°F (23°C) here yesterday, more 70’s again today. Finally.
Even after the cool down it still looks to be generally dry and partly cloudy to sunny which is a stark contrast from April’s constant dampness.

Absolute rubbish conditions until the mid-afternoon with overcast skies and sub-15°C temps, then the sky cleared and it got up to 21°C, while the 14°C dews triggered convection. Pic from edd on Infoclimat

Today was mostly cloudy, but cleared up in the afternoon and we reached a high of 13.4C, which is bang on normal for the time of year.
With UK and Central Europe in full bloom, it's easy to forget that Lapland still has massive amounts of snow:
