High was 74 (23 c) with sun today, beautiful day. Warmest since October and the first 70 since March.
I spent the whole day outside until like 7 PM, couldnβt waste our nicest day in over well over a month.
After today, the forecast goes to shit with several snow chances and no temps over 55.

Another hot week with spotty rainfall. The Meteo. Dept. says the wet season may be a month late this year, maybe not starting until early June. DMK airport recorded a low of 30.0 C this morning, which I don't think I've ever seen before. Two downtown sites came tantalisingly close with a low of 29.8 C.

Wow, temps in the 100's in the Southern Plains yesterday! It got up to 106Β°F (41Β°C) in SW OK today, which is the second earliest they've gotten this hot. We hit 93Β°F/34Β°C and OKC hit 95Β°F/35Β°C. That's actually about a month earlier than they're average first 95F day, but the earliest on record was March 19, in the crazy spring of 1907.
This evening a tornado warned storm grew just to the southeast of me, but I got a brief shower from the backside of the system. It was also warned for 3" hail, but I don't know if it ever got hail that big.

Strong storms bypassing me to the south. I'll be lucky to get some of the stratiform rain north of the cells: Lightning map. Fuckers headed to the southern fringes of the metro area:

The rest of the night be stay as windy or possibly even slightly windier than now, showers will continue to pass through (particularly in the south of perth) overnight. Expected to pick up 3-5mm more. At 5:50pm Ocean Reef was sustaining 70km/h and gusting 78km/h.
We've had 3mm from 5:30-6:00pm.
Edit: WNW 70km/h gusting 85km/h at jandakot at 6:40pm

Looks like a bit of a cool-down on the way this week - the next few days are slightly above average, then it plummets to about 10C to 12C highs after that. Grass is nicely turning green now, trees won't be far behind.

Today was the warmest day so far, with a high of 17.3C. If we would've had full sunshine, we'd probably hit 20C.

The low this morning was 29 (-2 c), which tied the daily record low and was the coldest May temp since 1979!
It turned into a nice sunny day though. High was only 48 (9 c), but with the sun it didnβt feel that cold.
The air was very dry too with dews in the 10s f.

Oh my! Bangkok is on its own category as far as heat is concerned. It seems to combine the lack of a marked cool season of the deep tropics and the extreme heat of the subtropics.

Bangkok is like Miami on steroids, holy fuck. Whenever I think Miami has it bad, I look at Bangkok and get grateful I'm not there, that doesn't discount Miami from being complete shit though.
Overnight low was 73 F (22.8 C), as of 8 am it's 76 F (24.4 C) with a 70 F (21.1 C) dew point heading for a hot day with a high of 94 F (34.4 C).
