Warm and humid this morning, 74 F with a 69 F dew point. Headed up to 89 F (31.7 C) today and sunny. Yesterday was quite a hot day by March standards. It ended up hitting 93 F (33.9 C)! w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KHWO.html

Oh that explains it lol, thought the same. Know NYC hit 90 in early April this decade or the one before but obviously there's no potent heat wave right now and I guess it would be record breaking even in DC.

Lol, the record high for DC in March is actually 93 F (33.9 C), so yesterday would've tied a monthly record up there. Ariete rozenn Although of course, even down here 34 C is pretty exceptional for March. Average highs right now are 27-28 C in this area. Btw, you guys should look up the March 1990 heatwave in the Northeast US. It hit 95 F (35 C) in Baltimore.....on March 12th! Another humid and warm morning here, 73 F (22.8 C) and 68 F (20 C) dew point at 8 am, heading up to 89 F (31.7 C) today. Yesterday hit 90 F (32.2 C) as well, so two straight 90+ days in a row. Today has the potential of hitting 90 F yet again, and so do the next several days. We even have a shot at 35 C next Tuesday! Predicted high is 94 F (34.4 C) as of now: I should probably change my location....

Well this is depressing... after a very cold March we finally had forecasts showing above freezing temperatures (right around average) for the week, and now suddenly it looks like that's only for the next three days and then we're plunging back into frigid wintery temperatures for almost a week, followed by a gradual warmup to temperatures that are just below average by the end of the first week of April. Talk about a long damn winter, this is starting to feel like 2018 again... April probably won't be as cold as it was that year, as that was a truly exceptional spring, but still very disappointing to see.
This climate is too unreliable, it's so easy for wintery weather to bleed into the shoulder seasons and cut our season of decent weather short. Definitely makes me want to move somewhere warmer.

Yesterday got to 64 (18 c), very nice spring day. Seeing more and more flowers starting to pop up and buds on many trees.
Through 26 days, the month is averaging 47.8/30.4, which is a +5.7 f anomaly.
After another 60 on Sunday, the forecast goes to shit with 46/37 and rain every day for the rest of the 10-day. April is still forecast to be warm so hopefully itโs just a one week stretch.

Ha ha, great description of your new location. Matches the geography/climate well!
And damn you Morningrise , you guys keep trending colder while we keep trending warmer in the east. I'm punching holes in the wall here ffs!

I don't recall ever experiencing 90F in March before. The warmest it got here last week was 87F (it hit 87F 3 days straight) but I saw where a couple of locations in north Louisiana reached 90F. Cooler here this week with highs mostly in the 70's and lows in the 50's.

Yeah that 95ยฐF in mid-March in Baltimore is nuts! Reports of sleet in the western outskirts of Paris today. No precip here but quite blustery. Strange dew point distribution this afternoon:
