Fucking why. Couldn't buy even average weather in January, and now we were getting this bullshit in mid April? Not out of the woods yet. Euro showing a little snow to end the cold season in Western PA. Significant snow in the White Mountains and Maine.

Car rental is closed and renting cars right now is sketchy. Looks like the hills near will get light snow but won't last

Perth Heatwave Watch Perth Metro April Record High is 37.3C on April 8th, 2013; 2013 also had a longish and strong heatwave in early April. April 10 and 11 are the two most likely days of breaking the record. We also have an outside chance of breaking the April record low of 23.4C on the 14th April 1999. Perth Forecast BoM April 9 - 33/17- sunny April 10 - 36/21- sunny April 11 - 37/22- sunny Wunderground April 9 - 33/17- mostly sunny April 10 - 36/20- mostly sunny April 11 - 37/23- mostly sunny The hottest forecasts for the Perth Metropolitan area are in the far NE near Ellenbrook and Pearce AP (a BoM station) with 39C forecast for both the 10th and the 11th (Pearce AP has an April record high of 39.4C also recorded on April 8th, 2013) Even if no records get broken or tied this heatwave has been very impressive. This heatwave/heat surge started on Monday and is looking to stay until Saturday or early sunday, which is 6-7 days of hot weather. Had a quick search around the state and most towns in the SW corner of the state have forecasts at or very near their April record maxima. First official warm day of the year @ Paris-Montsouris, with a 25.6°C/78°F high. It also beat the daily record high, which dated back from 1892. Will be harder in the coming days, with records north of 28°C.

This morning's UHI. I sat in a deckchair in the garden past 11 pm without feeling cold the least bit. No wind whatsoever.

Today turned into a surprisingly nice day. Sun care out and it got up to 57 (14 c).
Spring is progressing nicely with more and more hedges and bushes and flowers blooming. Sadly, it will be halted with the cold next 2 weeks.

Ridiculously windy today in Saskatoon, currently 56km/h (35mph) wind gusting to 69km/h (43mph).
Going back down to -14C tonight, with half the days in the forecast having sub-freezing highs. This winter just never ends, ugh...

Not a single drop of rain at FRA since March 21, and none in the forecast. April continues to change drastically in the last decades, more so than other months.

Warmer than yesterday still. First warm day of the year @ Orly airport with 26.0°C/79°F and warmer @ Paris-Montsouris with an unseasonably warm 27.1°C/81°F. I'm outside in a deckchair and I kid you not I'm freezing in the evening breeze even though it's 24°C/75°F. I'm a spoiled brat.

Cold front came through this morning, dropped 8 f in 20 minutes (46 to 38), and then some light snow showers. No accumulation or if it did it’s all melted.
The sun came out and it’s up to 47 (8 c) now but more snow is expected tonight.
TWC now says 63 and 64 for Sunday and Monday which will be nice.

Got pretty warm today - high was 86F. Some strong to severe t-storms in the area this evening with front. Looks like some hail producers. A good bit of lightning. Easter Sunday could be rough with a higher end severe threat possible. SPC mentions outbreak potential across the deep South.

Holy fuck, NWS has us at 95 F (35 C) with a 70 F (21.1 C) dew point Monday afternoon. These are crazy conditions for mid-April, usually that type of heat is quite dry at this time of year.
