I think I saw some of that slate gray overcast in 2016. Spotted these while gardening today (spoiler for you pooftas): There were hundreds of these running for their life:

I went to Squamish again today. Pemberton for another day! This view used to not have these houses there. It was completely unobstructed. Still a good view though.

I think I saw some of that slate gray overcast in 2016. Spotted these while gardening today: Damn he's looking right at you. Spiders themselves don't really creep me out but if I see their angry eyes staring at me, then that is a bit...weird. Years ago I trapped a spider in a small glass container and it was pissed as hell. It kept attacking the glass and its eyes had a very angry look to them.

Though it has more than 2 eyes and can't spin it's "head" (or rather, its cephalothorax), so it's not looking at me in particular, or rather it's looking everywhere with its numerous eyes.

On Tuesday, my friend and I went swimming in the 0 degree water. It was 15'C in the air though, and a blue dome sky without any wind, so it was really warm and nice when we drank coffee in the sun. I had brought a towel, but it was so warm immediately as you got up out of the water so I just dried in the sun instead.

Another tornado hit the area Wednesday evening... About 4 months after the last one. This one was rated an EF-2 and tracked across areas to my south over rural areas. Some pics I took this morning.

looks familiar; looks like you went up the Mt. Beacon fire tower. Long Island looks barer than I expected, but the oaks there are usually slow to leaf out
