Well we did not set the record for warmest minimum yesterday after all. The record was 67F and yesterday mornings low was 68F, however, we dropped to 65F by midnight.
59F was the low this morning, much more comfortable.

Quite a lot of rain for June in my former hometown Antibes, on the French Riviera. 128 mm (5.0") fell today, while the monthly normal in Nice is 34 mm (1.3").

High today was 86 (30 c). Thatโs the 4th 30 c day this year.
In the afternoon it got really windy and some dark storm clouds came through but it stayed dry.
My peonies are finally starting to bloom. Lilacs are on their way out though, all the other flowering trees have already turned green.

As I predicted , this morning got colder than forecast. Low was -3.0C, 3C colder than forecast. got to -3.9C which was the coldest temp in SA. Bloody desert at 200m elevation. Such a beautiful morning while being high this morning, teasing ducks with duck bread, the dew falling off the roof like rain, the sunshine, the still water, just perfect.

T.S. Cristobal is back in the Gulf. Headed toward Louisiana but looking like the center might go to my east, so I may be on the weaker side... Doesn't look like it will strengthen that much while going across the Gulf.

Winter has barely begun in subantarctic Coldchurch and they've already had multiple hard frosts and a single digit high:

Dropped down to -3.4C, coldest night thus far. Did not see that coming as last night was windy and cloudy and just didn't feel it was going to be one of those cold nights. Woke up for a piss at 7am and thought I was gonna die. Forecast was only 1C aswell.
Hay Gays ofcourse had to upstage me, just like in summer, with -3.5C. Atleast it's only 0.1C, not the unrealistic amount of extra heat they spammed this summer.
meanwhile got down to -4.8C!

Iโll be happy with anything as long as the core of the heat isnโt centered around Paris and Southern Germany, like IT ALWAYS IS ๐ก๐ก๐ก

Saskatoon got an astonishing 40.8mm (1.6") of rain yesterday! That's about 2/3rds of the monthly average for June and July and almost as much as an average May and August. This was one of the highest single day rainfalls I can recall seeing here, although I think most of it fell overnight because it definitely didn't seem to rain that much during the day.
This also broke our previous daily rainfall record of 27.2mm, set back in 1928.

25C with a 21C dew point in Winnipeg this evening while the rest of the major prairie cities are 15C or colder. Winnipeg's winters may be harsher than the other cities but their summers are so much better.
