Iโll be happy with anything as long as the core of the heat isnโt centered around Paris and Southern Germany, like IT ALWAYS IS ๐ก๐ก๐ก Schadenfreude

Averages (anomalies)
Perth: 23.5C/11.1C (+4.0/+2.5)
Jandakot: 23.0C/10.3C (+3.9/+2.8)
Just ridiculously warm this June, those would even be fairly warm for May. The next 2 days will keep averages much the same but it's looking to be just seasonably warm the rest of the week. This is the time of year when you don't see these anomalies as well!

High was 88 (31 c) today. Dews were in the 50s so it was very pleasant.
Tomorrow has a forecast high of 92, letโs hope it happens. Itโs supposed to be humid too with dews in the low 70s, enough so that the NWS issued a heat advisory.

Just the second week of winter and Coldchurch is already frigid. Just look at the 5th and 6th - cold and wet with a howling subantarctic Sou'wester. Nasty stuff. It got as low as -4.2 C (but, to be fair, also managed a high of 17 C yesterday). It's just about to drop below zero again, so that will be six consecutive frost days. Tomorrow looks mild, then another four consecutive frosts are forecast.

Crunch41 Moron shalop After talking about dew points and my maximum one this morning, I went back to my old files and realized for some reason when I filtered in excel, I missed that I did have 2 days above 70F dews last year - July 19 and July 20 (72F and 75F respectively). Don't know how I missed that, July 20th was that day my heat index was 100F with an air temp of 89F but I had a heat index of 100F.

Well the heatwave certainly delivered today. High was 94 (34.4 c), tying the daily record. Thatโs the hottest June temp since 2001!
It was humid too with dews in the upper 60s during the hottest part of the day, heat index peaked at 98 f.
So far this year weโre now 2-2 on hot days exceeding the forecast and having late afternoon highs. Usually thereโs be storms or lake cooling causing a pre-2 PM high but luckily that hasnโt been the case on our two record hot days this year.
April and the first half of May were shitty but now weโve already had 6 days >30 c, and 2 days in the 90s.

Looks like Seattle is having an even more nightmarish June than London is.
Long may it continue, in Seattle's case!
