Also surprised Perfff scores as low as it does, but then again its summers are hideously devoid of precipitation. It's very similar at certain times of year to Miami in the summer, but now I realize that if even my climate (which is far more variable in terms of temperatures and humidity) bores me stiff sometimes, Jakarta especially would unless there's a particularly epic string of storms coming through. (In other words, I'd probably find Dec-Mar far more interesting than Jun-Sep.) I like to have some amount of variety and seasonal change; while I find Jakarta's average temperatures equable, I'd prefer to have a bit of a cool season. Even a 28/18 winter month would make a big difference and really improve my grade. |

Best: France (rozenn, cadeau), some areas of Australia (where CRISP lives).
Worst: Ppl in Canada (toilettown, winterpeg), finland (turdpoo), sweden (ugaya), south korea; also on the other extreme those in tropical climes of Australia/Indonesia/southern Florida.
