This thread is to discuss when your location's record high temperature was set. I allowed multiple poll options so you could account for ties. Also, add your station's period of record if possible.
For the OKC area, the record high of 113°F/45°C was set twice, once on August 11, 1936 and once on August 2, 2012. Records started on November 1, 1890.

105.1°F on August 4th in 1981. Records go back to 1944*. Pathetic considering places in inland Med. France further north have managed hotter record highs.
*Latina had seen an even hotter high of 108.3°F on August 25th, 2007, whereas Ciampino only reached 104.0°F.

38.7C in the UK in July 2019
Previously the highest was 38.5C in August 2003
Prior to that the highest was 37.1C in 1990.
This year Heathrow hit 37.8C which is the third highest temperature recorded ever so we are definitely getting higher temperatures more often

41.5C (106.7F) on June 6th, 1988. Surprisingly early in the season as we usually seem to get our biggest heatwaves between mid-July and mid-August, but there you go.

Will have to double check, but in Seoul think it was actually in 2018! cdweather.boards.net/post/64817Seoul broke the old record of all-time hottest temperature by fairly huge margin of 1.2°C, it's the first time since 1907 when the official observation has had installed, 38.4°C(July 24, 1994) replaced to 39.6°C(August 1, 2018) !!! Also, the previous national record for South Korea held 40.0°C in Daegu until Hongcheon reached up to 41.0°C reading today, even more surprising fact is that Gangwon province where the city located is very northern part of the country.
