Nice first 5 months of the year in Smithers but the summer has turned out to be pretty crappy this year. Those first three months would be fantastic out here, April is nearly bang-on average for what we have, May is a bit mediocre but not awful, and then Jun/Jul/Aug... yikes! Yeah usually they are much drier in summer (albeit relatively still cold at night), so it's just a bad year. I posted this in the "weather boxes from past years" thread but should have posted here. 200km west of Smithers and you have this hellhole:

One of the few climates in Canada that manages to make Vancouver look like a hot desert in comparison.

Seeing that summer in Prince Rupert and realising that it's also 54N and maritime the same as where I live gives me a whole new appreciation for my climate.

I will post the climate boxes soon on the CD forum.
Why not here? Few go on CD anymore, or have been for the last years.
Yes, few post except the 2 million who post. (I've even seen posts by poster Thor Himself (or Herself) there. ) But okay, here it is. As for my area, the series of poor (mid)summers that has been in Eastern Estonia since 2015 (only 2018 was an exception) continues. And I have also noticed that if May is poor as it was this year, a good July cannot be expected.

On Shitty-Data, the August summary has viewed by 500 posters.
And if you're still so delusional about why this forum was set up and why we post here, I can't help you. You must be some kind of special idiot.

August data has just now been finished by NWS Lake Charles. Temps right about average and precip well above normal. Though it was a fairly dry month apart from Hurricane Laura. The airport received 5.15" the day of the hurricane (I got a bit more). Overall humidity seemed a bit less than typical, though it got pretty muggy the time of the hurricane and the days following. Low max: 86F High min: 78F Days 90F and above: 27 Days with thunder: 8 Average dewpoint: 71F Highest dewpoint: 79F Lowest dewpoint: 58F
