Palomares Forecast
Synopsis: Weak high pressure builds out over the ocean, placing us in a southeast flow which will deliver mild to warm temperatures. The winds over the cool ocean will create a marine layer setup, with fog at night and in the morning, keeping low temperatures mild. Some sun should still allow us to get to around 70, however. The stable marine pattern breaks with a cold front on 4/23 which brings a marginal risk for severe weather, unlikely to be upgraded to slight risk. 4/25 sees a warm front move thru the area, but precipitation should be minimal. Winds will shift to the southwest, and dry downsloping with full sun should allow us to get into the 80s, though temps will be average at night. The next significant front approaches 4/28, there appears to be some risk for severe weather with that, but too early for specifics.
4/21: 73/60 partly sunny
4/22: 72/63 AM fog, partly sunny 4/23: 76/52 PM scattered storms (0.15") 4/24: 70/55 partly sunny 4/25: 75/62 PM spotty storms (0.05")
4/26: 83/58 sunny
4/27: 86/59 sunny, windy
4/28: 75/53 PM scattered storms (0.25")

climateatlas.org/forecastcreator.htmlFixed some issues with the site: The temp units convert automatically as you type now, no need to do an additional click for them to change. I noticed some people had posted forecasts without converted units, so this should solve that problem. Humidity is now automatically calculated when you change the temp or DP. You don't need to calculate it manually anymore. The click-to-edit fields were cleaned up a bit. I noticed some formatting issues with the lat/lon/elev, so now only the values themselves are editable. Also, in terms of icons added, we now have tornado and hail for daytime current conditions and frost for a nighttime forecast. Precipitation chances have now been added for daytime scattered showers and scattered thunderstorms, and nighttime scattered showers, thunderstorms, and scattered thunderstorms.

Palomares Forecast
Synopsis: Cold front passes thru today with mostly cloudy conditions and some spotty showers or rumbles of thunder. Low CAPE values for today and tomorrow signal no severe weather issues. The inland low transfers its energy to the coast, with an easterly flow sending waves of rain and downpours our way. Heavy rain and flash flooding is a concern, particularly for the highest terrain with orographic effect rain where 3-6 inches is possible. Then cool high pressure builds in from the west, with ridge later on leading to a warmup, with a general southerly flow, leading to some marine layer influence keeping temps just slightly above average on some days.
4/28: 72/52 spotty storms (0.05")
4/29: 61/53 heavy rain, windy (2.25") 4/30: 65/47 partly cloudy 5/1: 73/57 sunny 5/2: 75/60 AM fog, partly sunny 5/3: 76/59 partly sunny 5/4: 83/65 sunny 5/5: 73/62 AM fog, mostly cloudy
