Oklahoma had it's coldest day since statehood. Oklahoma City also saw its coldest temperature since statehood, at -14°F (-25.5°C). OKC's February 15 high of 4°F (-15.5°C) was lower than the previous record low for the date. It tied for the fourth coldest high ever. Also, it hasn't gone above 20°F (-7°C) in seven days, and that streak is forecast to extend to nine. The previous record is five days.

Umeå got a temperature record today. At 13.00 exactly Umeå airport tied its previous February record of 9.0'C, and most likely the high will have been higher than that. Uni rooftop almost reached 10'C, and my balcony reached 10.5'C
Edit: the high was 9.1'C so only JUST beating the record lol

Turku hit 9.4C, which is a new record for the Artukainen station, but not for the city at whole.

I compiled a list of records from the South-Central United States from the February cold snap. I looked at just about every city or large town I could think of, but I may have missed a couple of places. None of the places that set an all-time record had good data from 1899. I left out that * means tied record

Highest daily rain on record just outside Rockhampton A rain gauge located just outside Rockhampton has registered 550mm in 24 hours, setting a new record for the site.
Persistent and heavy rain targeted a stretch of rainforest to the north of Rockhampton and Yeppoon on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Amid this relentless rainfall, a gauge located at Byfield collected half a metre of rain.
According to automatic observations on the Bureau of Meteorology's website, Byfield was drenched with 550mm in the 24 hours to 9am on Wednesday. Almost half of this (250mm) fell during the six hours ending at 3am Wednesday. If verified, this will be Byfield’s highest daily rainfall total in records dating back to 1928, beating 486mm in early March 1983.
This rainfall alone is impressive, but the fact that it follows the driest start to a year on record in nearby Rockhampton makes it phenomenal.
Elsewhere in Queensland, heavy rain has caused rapid river rises in some areas during the last couple of days.
The water level in the Retreat Creek at Sapphire, located to the west of Emerald, rose by nine metres in under four hours on Tuesday morning. ( Source: Weatherzone )

Some record breaking rain in eastern NSW. More records will probably be broken in the next couple of days.
"On the Mid North Coast, Kempsey has now received an astonishing 407.4mm in the 72 hours to 9am on Saturday. More than half of this fell in the 24 hours to 9am on Friday, which was the wettest March day for Kempsey on record. With the monthly total now up to 488.2mm, this is also the wettest March in the 20 years of record keeping at the station. Elsewhere in the region, Taree Ap received just shy of 150mm in the last 24 hours, bringing the monthly total just 2.2mm off the previous March record set in 2017 of 405.2mm, a mark the station is sure to meet soon enough. Port Macquarie has also been drenched with 346mm over the last 3 days."

We had a low of 29°F (-1.5°C) this morning at the OKC airport. That's the latest sub-30°F low on record. Interestingly, now all of the four latest lows in the 20s happened since 2014.

About a dozen records fell in BC due to the heat dome just between Monday and Thursday, some daily records, some outright records. No doubt many more will follow.
On Sunday, three parts of the province recorded the highest-ever temperatures for June 20.
The record in White Rock was set back in 1938, at 27.2 C. This June 20, the mercury climbed to 28.7.
It was also the hottest June 20 in Hope and Squamish, where the temperature reached 32.5 and 30.2, respectively.
Monday saw seven records fall, one of which was more than a century old. The following municipalities had record-breaking heat on June 21:
Abbotsford – 30.8 C, previous record of 30.6 in 1973; Agassiz – 32.5, previous record of 31.5 in 2004; Cache Creek – 36.1, previous record of 35.6 set in 1973; Clinton – 29.7, previous record of 28.3 set in 2004; Gibsons – 27.9, previous record of 26.5 set in 2004; Victoria (Gonzales Point area) – 28.9, previous record of 25 set in 1902; and White Rock – 27, previous record of 26.1 set in 1938. On Tuesday, just one record was broken when the high reached 29.5 C in the Puntzi Mountain area. The previous record for warmest June 22 was in 1973, with a high of 29.4.
No records fell Wednesday, but Bella Bella saw record heat on Thursday. Environment Canada said the high in that area rose to 25 C, up 0.8 from the previous record of 24.2 set in 2017

the unseasonal winter heat continues across the Top End, with the small west Arnhemland blackfella community of Oenpelli reaching 36.5c, tieing their record max July recording set back in 1981. Even die hard Territorians regard Oenpelli as an opressive heat hellhole.

The record number of consecutive days above 25C will come to an end tomorrow (today). Kouvola Anjala recorded 31 of those days in a row.
Averages during these 31 days were 28.9C/15.9C. These are figures you'd expect in Bucharest.
