Needs to be verified first though. Instrumentation examined, etc. Were any surrounding standings also that high?

Hoburg's sunshine record this March might be one of the most impressive records in recent history actually. Its previous all-time March record was 213 from 2012 (data goes back to 1983, but another very close station has data since 1958 and all its sunniest Marches have been later than 1983). This March however it recorded 303h, which is 13% more than the previous national all-time record of 267h, and a whopping 42% higher than its previous station record. I know May 2018 (and the year 2018 in general) saw monstruous shatterings of previous sunshine records, but they were nowhere near Hoburg's March record in terms of percentages.

Two stations in Kentucky reported wind gusts over 100mph from a tornado back in December 2021. The higher one, 120mph/193kph, is confirmed to be a new state record for Kentucky. Wildcat The station that set the record was in the path of a tornado, on the border of EF3 and EF2. In theory the dividing line is a 138mph wind gust.

Oklahoma City has now set a record for making it farther than ever into fall without having a high below 60Β°F (15.5Β°C). The first high below 60 will likely come on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
