What are you Ideal Latitude Ranges?
Here are my latitude ranges in the Northern Hemisphere by Continent.
North America: 40°N-55°N
Europe: 45°N-65°N
Asia: 35°N-50°N
In General: 40°N-60°N

40-45 N. Any father north, winter days are too short. Any father South, summer days are too short. Where I am at 43 N is pretty much ideal.

My sweet spot for the difference in daylight hours between summer/winter and the long twilights is 57 latitude, but in terms of weather anywhere further north than where I live at 54 and the winters drag on too much and the sun's too weak for too long.
I wouldn't want to live somewhere where you had to take precautions against the sun for months every year though, which for me would probably rule out most places below about 40 latitude. Graz, my ideal climate is at 47N so I suppose high 40s gives me most of what I want.

Seems pretty ideal here at 53N in terms of day lengths. I'd rather be further south in terms of climate though, maybe around 40N.

In both North America and Europe, my favorite climates, especially near coastal areas, tend to be between 50 and 60 degrees north.

For sunrise/sunset type stuff? ~47. For climate, it could be anything outside the tropics and polar circles.

Graz - moderately continental, five months of 20-25C highs, three months around freezing in winter and plenty of summer thunderstorms. As for my favourite at 57°N, I suppose I'd just have to look at a map of the east coast of Sweden because anywhere to the east would be too cold in winter and anywhere to the west not warm enough or sunny enough in summer - Västervik seems to fit the bill: stays cold for longer than I'd like, but certainly better than where I live. I don't like the early solar noons in that part of the world though, shift the timezone to GMT +1.5 and it would be much more liveable en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%A4stervikwww.timeanddate.com/sun/@2664203?month=1&year=2017

And yeah, Västervik is my favorite too, although Öland's northern edge wouldn't be so bad either since it gets probably close to 2100h of sun, apart fron the horrible seasonal delay and perhaps wind. And yeah, time zone's crap here. What do you think of Gap, France?

Not bad at all, but I'm not a fan of big diurnal ranges, I like it when you know it's going to either be warm all day or cold all day. Plus 2940 hours might be too much sun, I wouldn't want to get bored of it. Take 2C off the highs and add it to the lows and I'd give it a B.

In terms of day length variety, somewhere like 65 N is ideal. Very wide range in day length without 24 hours of darkness or brightness.
In terms of climate, far inland climates between about 45 N and 60 N is ideal for me.

47-48N is ideal for me. pitch black summer nights, but still enough variation throughout the year. In terms of day length variety, somewhere like 65 N is ideal. True, the bright nights would annoy me. But I would enjoy fall/winter's daylight length and the low, golden glow from the sun. Maybe a bit lower in latitude would be ideal.

Mine would always fall between 35-43 in maritime zones so 30-50 I guess If I had some HAARP weather weapons and $500 in my pocket perhaps I could create a glorious one at 44N though

The line for midnight sun is actually south of the arctic circle. Persön a dozen kilometers north of Luleå gets one day of midnight sun per year. A kilometer north of that gets another couple of days of midnight sun.

Haparanda gets a few that I know of. Also, Gällivare gets an hour of the sun being just above 0 degrees at winter solstice in spite of being 100 km above it, incredibly enough It's not really visible though when it's that low, so it'll still feel like bright civil twilight.
