Wild warm front, temp spiked from 72 to 80 in like 4 minutes. I was outside and I literally felt it get progressively hotter with each large gust of wind.
First 80 of the year and very windy.

Looks like we've got a spring snowstorm on the way. Monday is expected to have very strong winds and blowing snow (up to 8cm) following some showers on Sunday night, which should make things quite icy and treacherous. Tuesday will be very cold with a high of -8C and then we'll be warming back up to more normal conditions on Wednesday.

Had some drizzle this evening. Weβve had several days with rain this month but itβs all been light and drizzly so I havenβt minded.
Thereβs been 9 days this month with measurable precipitation.
3 were rain 2 were rain to snow events 2 were light snow 1 was heavy snow 1 was snow to rain
Seems like an unusual number of rainy days for March here.

Very windy yesterday and a new daily record high of 79 F/26 C was set. This tied the monthly record high set back in March 2012.
Temps cooled down overnight to to 44 F/7 C.

Better than before, alders are blooming, I saw butterflies flying. High was 13c. The morning was clear but from noon it was quite cloudy. If it had been sunnier, it would have been warmer. Valga was a bit warmer and recorded 14.5c. Highs in the country: There is still a lot of snow in the upland area, today morning:

Finally a cool down coming late next week. Hope the Euro is right. We've had enough boring ass onshore flow this month.
"Thu-Sat (modified)... A longwave trough across the eastern states will drive a stronger front down the peninsula during the first half of the day on Thursday with breezy to windy conditions developing behind the front Thu night into Friday as northeast winds increase. For Thu...will carry rain chances around 30 percent with the chance for showers. Have removed the thunder mention as the timing of the front is faster. Shower chances should be ending across the far southern areas early Thu evening then windy NE flow Fri and breezy onshore flow Sat. The onshore winds will limit highs to the 70s with lows in the 50s across the interior behind the front. It should be noted that the ECMWF keeps the flow offshore longer than the GFS behind the front and allows temps to fall into the 40s across much of EC FL Friday morning."

Snowed briefly last night apparently, but I was asleep.
On another note, BBC shows 20C on Tuesday, Weather.com shows 21C, Met Office 19C, Weatheronline 19C. Getting above 20C just three days after it snowed would be pretty ridiculous.

Drove through some really cool fog this morning near Longmont today. Was basically a huge walk of fog that I could see from mikes away, once I entered it, visibility dropped to like 50 feet. Probably like 15 minutes of driving to get through it.

Heavy rainfall has been missing me with the past few storm systems. I've had less than half an inch of rain over the past week. Storms developed close by Tuesday to my south and east but moved away (parts of south LA were hit pretty hard). Rainfall over the past 7 days.

Wow parts of south Georgia had temps 90F and above yesterday! Also close to 90F in South Carolina! I don't recall ever having a 90F degree temp in March, but it has happened before here (there was a streak of 90+ days in 1907 which makes up most of the daily records for late March). Yesterday's temps.

Looks at this forecast for Waycross: forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=31.2114&lon=-82.3584#.YGCHsrCSnIUAt least there's still some opportunity for cool weather before the heat settles in.

ilmc90 ral31 I'm honestly surprised that yesterday ended up having warmer temps than the day before in the Carolinas, given the forecast highs; seems like clouds kept temps from reaching the forecast highs:
