April has started cool with the North wind in Riga. Overcast, low has been 2C, high should be 6C or 7C. Should be very similar tomorrow. Maybe it will clear in the afternoon from the North-West, fingers crossed:
As soon as Farch, the last crummer proper month here is over, it exceeds 30C. Reached 32.4C after a polaar 8.0C low.
10/33C tomorrow
Easter long weekend looking splendid, warmer than 95% of Fuckuary and NO, this is NO exaggeration.

February and March this year have had one of the larger differences in mean temperatures I've seen between two adjacent months. -19.4C for February and -2.0C for March, an incredible 17.4C difference. Even by our standards that's quite a lot.
March ended being a boring AF month here. Lowest temp of 54 F (12.2 C), 3.3 F (1.8 C) above normal, and about 40% drier than normal (2.18" vs the 3.58" average).
Warm today ahead of the cold front, possible severe storms later on this afternoon (NWS issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook due to this), high predicted at 88 F (31.1 C) today with a low of 58 F (14.4 C) predicted tonight behind the front.

It's impossible to go more than a couple hours without clouds in my area, so the stratocumulus layer offshore is racing towards me as soon as the frontal clouds are finishing their shift.

Got down to 37F here last night (34F had been forecast). Any vegetables planted already should be fine (I haven't planted anything yet). It was down to 39F yesterday morning and I saw frost on roofs but I wasn't up as early this morning.
Got down to -2c across the whole city this morning after weeks of above freezing crap. Still only up to 1c as of 1300h. I don't get to say this often but it's actually colder here than in Churchill Manitoba today. Kinda hoping this little cool blast stunts all of the blooming crap enough to push it off several more weeks.
