The skies look kind of hazy and polluted again. It's not as bad as when there were the fires out west, but it's worse than usual.

With a forecast low of -19C, tonight could end up being the coldest night of the month. The next coldest night in the forecast is -12C and most of the others are above -10C, so hopefully this is the last time of the season that we get anywhere near the -20C mark.

Had some light rain overnight and flurries in the morning. Ended up with 0.06β (1 mm) of rain.
Two rain events for early March seems unusual for here but I guess weβre getting close to the wetter season.

Havana's low was 12 C again this morning, the fourth 12 C or lower minimum this month alone. Keep in mind that their average low is 20 C and their record low for March is only 10 C.

-19.6C hourly reading at 7:00am. Will we hit -20C between hourly readings? Entirely possible.
I also just realized that we're only a couple months away from the start of thunderstorm season. Kind of hard to believe on a frigid morning like this, but the change of seasons always sneaks up on you faster than expected in this climate...

The low last night was 60 F at DTW, with 54 % humidity. Felt like a summer night...This might tie the previous record high min for all of march. www.weather.gov/dtx/DTW_Mar_rec

67 F right now. Dark clouds and high winds make it seem like a T storm is going to barrel through. Hope it actually happens, But I'm gonna bet the storm will gay up just in time and deposit a sprinkle here

Cold wave is over. Today is the warmest since 4 March. The coldest temperature of -7.1C was registered on 9 March in Riga and there was one ice day on 8 March with a high of -1.3C. At 4 p.m. it is 4.8C and overcast with a wind blowing from South-West. The remaining snow of 3 cm is rapidly melting down. Temperatures in Latvia now:

Showery and blustery weather lately. 80 km/h+ winds yesterday, 70 km/h and some thunder today. Typical March weather. Shot from NPs on Infoclimat:
