So whatever, LGA and Central Park both failed to hit 90 this weekend. The closest PWSs in the area on Wunderground, Searingtown and Mineola, both did hit 90s both Saturday and Sunday, plus JFK of all places hit 94 yesterday and 91 today, so I'll consider this the first 90s of the summer. LGA will join in on the fun Wednesday, as NWS has 94 forecast. First 70+ low last night too, with 72-73 at the stations.

the last week could almost pass for summer, especially inland. Greenfield (inland, western Massachusetts, about 120 miles north of Farmingdale), Farmingdale (Long Island 35 miles east of Manhattan), NYC Central Park (obviously the strongest UHI. not labeling which is which. shouldn't be hard The % to the right made me think the bottom graph was RH and not DP which made me super confused lol since it didn't change in any noticable way with temperature

7C dew point at 5:00pm today, by far the highest I can remember seeing in a long time. Hopefully more of that on the way after we get our dose of rain these next two days. It's funny how 7C would not feel very humid at the end of summer, but after seven months of mid-winter levels of humidity I can genuinely feel the moisture in the air from it.

Memorial Day weekend coming up! Camping weekend in Northern PA - but oh my fuck what a terrible forecast for being outside for 5 days. Yes that is a sub 50F/10C high on the first weekend of "summer"

Much cooler today. Cold front has passed and it's only around 60 F. It feels kind of chilly with clouds and wind after a sweltering 92 F day yesterday. Tomorrow will be bang on normal. High/Low 76/53. Wednesday & Thursday will be sweltering in the 90's. The memorial day weekend is terrible, with rain and highs possibly not breaking 60 F on Friday.

We finally got our rain! Storm system moved in from Montana overnight, however it's very calm this morning, not howling at all. Just waking up to the nice soothing sound of rain and birds chirping outside, so wonderful

Yesterday was actually a cool-ish night in inland Broward, dropped to 67 F (19.4 C) at HWO. Only 70 F (21.1 C) at FXE and 74 F (23.3 C) down here in MIA though. Of course, lame ass weather follows me.
Headed up to 87 F (30.6 C) and sunny skies today. Forecast is a fair bit warmer this week than last week.

Finally getting some real weather here after the non-stop easterly snoozefest we had the past week. We were significantly cooler than forecast this morning. It reached 62.2 F (16.8 C) at my PWS. If that corresponds with my nearest COOP station (it usually does within 1 F), it will be the latest temperature that low on record. No temperature below 63 F has ever been recorded this late in the season. Some spots further inland dropped in the mid 50s F. Okeechobee reached 55 F (12.8 C), Allapattah Flats 56 F (13.3 C), and St Lucie West FAWN 57 F (13.9 C). Yet another cool morning across South/Central FL. This time, both Okeechobee and Allapattah Flats dropped to 55 F (12.8 C) and it reached 61.3 F (16.3 C) at my PWS, which would once again be a record latest temp that low. Incredibly widespread distribution of mid to upper 50s inland. Miles City RAWS was the coolest official station in the area with a low of 53 F (11.7 C).

High/low of 69/61 here today with ESE winds putting us under a marine layer. Back to warmth thru till Thursday, Friday/Saturday look horrible with cool showers, and then sun and 70s Sunday/Monday, so not a horrible Memorial Day weekend, but still bad overall.

Never seen an end to May like this. We now have a serious shot at breaking the (pathetic) May low record of 0.6C. This record should have been broken on the 22nd, but we're lucky enough to get 2 more tries at it.

We officially got 33mm / 1.3" of rain yesterday, taking us from bone dry to only slightly below average for the month.
The rest of the forecast is mostly dry and sunny but I hope we'll end up getting regular periods of rain through the summer and not just go right back to desert levels of dryness.
