Its a big ask for England to save this match. Jeez Khawaja made batting look easy !

It shows the difference in class between the two teams when Australia can bring a guy like Khawaja into the team, and it be a controversial move among some. The guy averages 40 in tests, more than any other English player except Root.

Its a big ask for England to save this match. Jeez Khawaja made batting look easy ! More that England (with the exception of Root and Stokes) have made the pitches look like something from the far side of the Moon.

Ariete would be a good spinner actually. So, the WWF XI: 1. B87 2. Ben (c) 3. Lommaren 4. Noodleman 5. FG 6. jgtheone (vc) 7. Beercules (wk) 8. Razza 9. Ariete 10. Irlinit 11. Hector Alex as the tough talking coach and 12th man is joe90. I think we need to bring in the 2022 WWF XI? Ben has retired and Lommo banned for match fixing and using sandpaper.

Promising youngster Benny Boy has recently broken into the team.

Benny Boy would be one of the selectors considering how much he tries to recruit for the forum.

The updated WWF XI:
1. B87 2. Nei 3. Greys 4. Irlinit 5. FG 6. jgtheone (c) 7. Beercules (wk) 8. Razza (vc) 9. Ariete 10. Noodleman 11. Meteoman/Weatherman
Alex remains as coach and the 12th man is Benny Boy, who like Michael Neser can never quite make it into the side.
Few changes:
I've switched Irlinit and Noodleman as the latter is a bowler rather than a batsman.
Nei is opening as he has a solid technique and a strike rate of about 17.50, which contrasts well with the more attacking B87.
I feel like Greys would be a good no. 3 for some reason. Just very relaxed and able to adapt to the situation at hand.
Razza has been made VC and myself captain. This will also allow us to talk shit in the slips endlessly.
Joe90's contract was ripped up as he missed a session of training, only to be found skiing in the nearby orange fields.

I hope you aren't suggesting that nei will score a mammoth 12 (275) while I nick off 2nd ball in most innings?

A shambolic collapse, I think only TPPAF could do worse at this point.

Novak Djokovic has had a more successful visit to Australia than England.

The English team could probably catch the same flight out as Djokovic if they wanted

Warney was an icon. One of the first cricketers I ever remember watching. He turned leg spin into an art, and was a major part of the almighty Australian team of the 90s/2000s.
He was such an icon that even Beercules commented on this thread, that tells you exactly how influential he was.
I wasn't a fan of his commentary, but it still won't be the same without him. Rest in peace.
