They would lose to Wirral.
Me, ben and lommie would all score centuries against Australia.

Nice to see the lower-middle order stringing together a few decent partnerships.

5-0 to England in 2019 will be sweet sweet revenge.
Edit: 4-0. There's a test at Old Trafford. Though if the Aussies react to movement like this, we will only need 2 days.
We could probably prepare green tops everywhere apart from the Oval, which is usually a dust bowl after day 3.

well thats gay if it's going to be 5-0 every time because neither team can play properly outside of their home conditions

I guess the only solution is for touring teams to play a lot more warm-up games to get used to the conditions and spread the matches over a longer period like in the old days, I can't see that happening with today's schedule though.

well thats gay if it's going to be 5-0 every time because neither team can play properly outside of their home conditions Unfortunately that seems to be the way it's going. Both teams have become horrible at playing in each other's countries. England are useless on the hard Aussie decks, whereas even the slightest bit of movement for the pace bowlers cause the Aussie batting to fall to pieces.

It's a shame, because us the fans want a contest. And if we know who the ashes are going to every time, what's the point? Both sides could do with some more solid players too

Had you followed on earlier in the test you would have won by now. If we do win, that decision will be up there with Ponting "we'll have a bowl mate" at Edgbaston in 2005.

Do you think we should do what the Aussies do and always have the first test in a fortress where we will always win?
Eg: 1st test: Trent Bridge 2nd test: Edgbaston 3rd test: Lords 4th test: Headingley/Old Trafford/Cardiff/Southampton 5th test: Oval
