me, you and noodle need to be in the 11 as well Alex says I'm calm and composed apparently so I could open with either you or ben. Who would be the spinner?

I think noodle would be great at 4, calm and relaxed free flowing cricket. I can be at 6 with a handy bat and some part time medium-fast bowling due to my height*. You can open with Ben. I reckon lommaren at 3, he'd be hard to get out and he'd be very focused. Now it's just no. 5 and the spinner left. No idea

Galah at 5? Hammering boundary after boundary from pathetic bowling.
Struggling with the spinner.

Someone with a lot of variation. Or someone tricky.

Ariete would be a good spinner actually.
So, the WWF XI:
1. B87 2. Ben (c) 3. Lommaren 4. Noodleman 5. FG 6. jgtheone (vc) 7. Beercules (wk) 8. Razza 9. Ariete 10. Irlinit 11. Hector
Alex as the tough talking coach and 12th man is joe90.

Hahaha me at 4, I would love to see the day that happens. Let's just say I played four years and got a high score of 11. I'm an off spinner, loopy and use bounce and spin. I'm a good 9 in the order, I'm good and keeping my wicket but awful at getting runs, once got 4 runs off 36 balls.

You've got it right with me opening the batting since I am clearly Geoffrey Boycott's love child and all I haven't played cricket since I was about 14 (was never particularly good at it, used to be a batsman just because I couldn't bowl), and unfortunately I never got involved in my favourite situation that the game can produce: the team's nine wickets down, half an hour to go, no chance of winning...block, block, block

I scored 88 against my uncle who used to play club cricket as a pace bowler, that's my claim to fame. I also found it easy to get people out in sports class.
Now that I think about it he probably went easy on me apart from the bouncers which he thinks are funny

Who would go in a c-d XI? I can see Nei and Cambium opening the batting and , Wavehunter and Chicagogeorge heading up their bowling attack.
Y-man would be sledged relentlessly and would be attacked with bouncers immediately.

I'd place myself somewhere in the middle order. Whenever I open I end up batting like Geoffrey Boycott, 10* from 50 overs. I'm much better when I just go out there and basher it like a madman My greatest moment is going put to bat against a team from Shropshire needing two to win from 15 overs. So first ball I slog-sweeped some old crumpet for 6 and then strolled back to the pavilion.

I had you in our pace attack with the constant terrorising of the mentally weak c-d line up.

I think a good spinner could easily tease and frustrate that bunch.

Yep, I bowl wrong-uns so off spin out of the back of my hand. Low economy, varying wicket taking ability.

easthome would be behind the stumps yelling about how bradford is the best city in the world, then when nei is out to bat beercules would be calling him a latte-sipping greenie communist lycra wearing fudge packer

Or he would just review everything like Leg Before Watson.
