Yikes, Kolmården at 130m ASL just NE of Norrköping recorded 34.3'C at 13.00. This could be the warmest day in a long time for Sweden, especially if you only count June.
Some places in Sweden have seen very high dew points as well, and it seems to vary quite a bit in very short distances. A Davis Vantage Pro 2 just north of Linköping and Norrköping recorded a 20.4'C dew point 15 minutes ago, and some official stations have reached dew points in 19's (at the very least) on their hourly observations.

Yeh, lets hope it reaches 36c at least. That hasn’t happened since 1992.

Past couple days have been stellar with highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s, couldn't ask for better weather this time of the year. Back to more seasonable conditions with the heat and humidity coming back although nothing dramatic with forecast highs between 85 F/29 C and 88 F/31 C. I see another cool down in the forecast for later next week with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.

Lowest year to date temperatures in Buenos Aires today. The Observatory recorded 1.9°C and the Airport recorded -3.0°C. The city of Luján, 60 km west of BA, reached -4.5°C.
Not only did the UHI and closeness to the sea affect the lows, but some advection clouds entered during the night and halted the decrease close to the coast. Nothing unexpected, still annoying. Last night / early morning was a huge close but no cigar for several cities in the country. Mendoza, Mar del Plata, Neuquén, all of them had rain and 1 to 2°C; there was some isolated sleet, but no snow at all.

^I gave that post a like only because it mentions Lommaren's homeland I don't see a reference to Nykoping; not unless you're referring to Sweden as a whole

SMHI made a post where they showed that Målilla managed to reach 34.6'C at 14.35 which is the warmest June temp recorded in Sweden since 1947. Considering Kolmården recorded 34.3'C at 14.00 it's likely Kolmården surpassed 34.6'C at some point, but SMHI didn't mention any such data. We'll see at 8pm.

Very divided in Finland today. In southern and central parts 27C+ has widely been recorded, while parts of Lapland have struggled to get much above 10C. Rovaniemi's high will be 14C, and the afternoon in Tornio recorded just a bit above 12C.

^I gave that post a like only because it mentions Lommaren's homeland I don't see a reference to Nykoping; not unless you're referring to Sweden as a whole Reference to Norrkoping. Another blistering hot day in the Lower Midwest today, hit 105 F (40.6 C) in Omaha yesterday, apparently their first 105 F reading in June since 1953! KC region will be hovering around the century mark for today: Same for the St. Louis region. Keep in mind these are heat index values, don't know why they put a heat index map instead of an actual temp map. But forecast highs are 99 - 102 F (37.2 - 38.9 C) in the area, St. Louis itself has 102 F (38.9 C) forecast: These areas will be a big cool down early next week however, Omaha has 73/50 (22.8/10) predicted on Monday, KC and STL also both with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s/low 60s predicted on Tuesday. Meanwhile here, cloudy, muggy, bullshit, with 86 F (30 C) and a 77 F (25 C) dew with cloudy skies as of noon.

Apparently Kolmården recorded its 34.3'C high exactly at 14.00 and never reached any higher. Impressively, Målilla managed to still be 29.6'C at 20.00, almost 30'C.

Got about 45 minutes of sun exposure early this afternoon. Pleasant conditions. Not too hot, low humidity, very sunny. I went for a little walk while eating a large cherry Rita's water ice. Barely broke a sweat.

Tropical system headed towards SE Louisiana. Not sure if it will be classified a tropical storm before it makes landfall. Rainfall is mostly displaced on the east side of the system. I probably won't get much if anything from it.
It has become more humid here with dewpoint back up to 70F. Lower than normal humidity the past couple of days (DP dropped to the upper 50's yesterday).
