28'C is pretty good for Umeå although not record breaking like further north where a lot of records were broken today. Places like Lycksele further inland only got to about 30'C today so that's pretty fair tbh.

Total snowfall of 6.8 cm over the last two days here (including flurries overnight and around foredawn). The W/NW flow was top-notch, however moisture was severely lacking—could've easily scored 20+ cm if there was at least a standard amount of moisture with this system. Struggled to get above 3° C yesterday.

^I've seldom seen anything like it…so I just had to post it. It deserves to be in the archives of history - it's a beautiful chart. The fact that such scenarios are even being thrown around in the first place - makes one wonder as to what the rest of winter may conjure up.

Saskatoon is already at 11 days with highs above 30C this year, our average is 13.1 per year. We also average 1.3 highs above 35C per year and have had 3 so far. It's definitely been an unusually hot start to the summer this time around.

Today was hot across inland South Florida. A few stations recorded their highest temp of the year with 99 °F (37.2 °C) at Honeymoon RAWS and several more stations at 98 °F (36.7 °C). However, none of these match the state's highest temp this year, which is 101 °F (38.3 °C) at Lake Wales Ridge NWR near Sebring recorded on three separate days.

It's not that I don't want you to get it; of course I'd love to see it happen. But in the past Angler always laughed at model wanking. Funny to see the change.

Ummm no I only ever laughed at GayJ and GayJ alone, just for being GayJ. Nothing to do with models - you're probably thinking about someone else.

Saltdal, just north of the Arctic Circle came less than 3°F from the all-time Norway record high yesterday. Lol that's a station placement you could complain about if you wanted to

Funny to see the change. Model wanking is a desperate measure when you're bored of the weather. I've done it myself, looking at shit like 240-300 hours out. I did it with last Saturday, which did end up being cold but not as cold as the models were saying.
