Well well well... temps set to fall below average (850hpa at least) on 28th July - and stay below average for the forseeable future. Bring it!

Note to South Australians: snow =/= hail.

Fort Collins supposedly had a 68.2 (20.1 c) dew yesterday which is extremely high for there. Loveland airport didnโt get above 58 (14 c) though so either it was very localized or an inaccurate reading.
However, the 10 minute obs show a gradual rise and fall from that peak and over an hour of mid to high 60 dews, part of which with rain. So Iโd say itโs probably correct.
Loveland airport has never recorded a dew over 66 (19 c). Not sure what the CSU station has recorded but anyway this was close to, if not, a record.

31.6/24.1 averages so far this July. Pretty warm for a July, gotta be one of the warmest Julys out there. Pretty close to the notorious 2018 July, which finished 32.1/24.2.

Someone put the Kilmore weather station in the freezer, lol Looks a bit fishy compared to nearby sites....I'm thinking an error there in reporting.

Typhoon No.8 Nepartak is expected to approach near Tokyo by Tuesday. It will be the first typhoon landing in Japan this year. Quite a strange typhoon forecast that shifts westward at the north of the 30th parallel. Some of the Olympic games holding outdoor may postpone or antedate due to the weather event. Covid-19, usual summer heatwave, and now typhoon's coming... what's the next, earthquake?
