Decent lightning cells out here, had lightning which delayed an AFL game for about 30 minutes. Went down to the beach and watched the storm cells roll through - very nice vibes.
Gusts around 65-75km/h the whole time while I was there

I have experienced about 8 thunderstorms during my 2-week vacation at home, absolutely fantastic. Now Aachen welcomes me also with a nice little storm

Had a new warmest overnight low today, low of 83 F (28.3 C) last night w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIA.html if it holds up and doesn't rain later today. 91 F (32.8 C) with a 75 F (23.9 C) dew point as of 2 pm here, pretty typical August day. Loads of clouds building up at the moment though.

Classic Shitchester forecast bust today, high was 89 (32 c). No random afternoon cooling or storms though, just didnโt get as hot as expected.
Dews were in the upper 60s much of the day after hitting 71 (22 c) in the morning.

Today was another cool and cloudy day, failing to hit 20C for the first time since July 19th and only the second time since June 20th. The air was also very clean and smoke-free again so that was really nice.

High/low of 80/71 today and mostly cloudy. Got 0.34" of warm thunderless rain during the past 36 hours here as well. Thankfully the rain stopped before 8am today. Finally going to enter a nice heatwave as NE winds fuck off and SW flow dominates. 90s from Wed-Sat capping out around 95 per NWS. I'd rather a drier heatwave (ie lower DPs and higher temps), but I'll take this anyway.

Today has been pretty sick Hail all about the place, bloody windy, most likely a lot of snow on bluff knoll but no reports yet. Down south has had some real cold weather, some stations which will be posted below have had rain, wind and sat around 4-6C all day at 250-270m asl. Below are Wunderground stations near Bluff Knoll: www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IMOUNT141www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IWESTERN873Both have had rain falling at 3.9C and 4.3C respectively, both at altitudes of approx 300m asl. Diurnals at Perth have been 14.4/9.7 but there have been periods of sub 10C during cells.

Major forecast bust today, high was 87 (31 c), 5 f below the forecast. Was hazy all afternoon which probably kept temps down.
Had a light evening shower which dropped temps and caused dews to hover at 73-74 f (23 c) the past few hours. Donโt feel like checking but might be the highest dews so far this year in Rochester.

Very warm this morning, 82 F (27.8 C) with a 76 F (24.4 C) dew point as of 7 am, headed up to 91 F (32.8 C) with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Have gotten jack shit in terms of rainfall the last 72 hours: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIA.htmlHopefully some storms can materialize today. NWS has heavy rain and breezy this weekend, tropical storm activity?
