Not bad at all to jump from 157 to 170 a day. Lets keep this upward trend going! Lets try and get 180 a day this week.

Surprising as it's felt dead as fuck to me lately. I blame my gaybo timezone.

I attribute everything to Yititty. His absence of course.

It canโt just be due to YITYNR. I wonder what else caused the increase

This is a genuine bounce back. There's been less padding of the stats by my music spamming, and a better overall tone. The shoutbox has more weather talk than I've seen in a long time, and less rows.

135 to 158 is a good increase - 17% higher.
Quality is more important than quantity anyways. I'd take 150 good posts over 200 shitty, spammy ones.

The biggest problem is, of course, the participation rates. Now, I'm a noob here, but it really is a hardcore of about 20 members who bother to participate on a regular basis. By that I mean, on multiple topics, not just "whats the weather like here...." So any votes/ratings on, for example, Climate Battles, well generally less than the 20 hardcore users bother to vote or have any imput, and less again bother to comment on other off topic sublects in the sub forums. And really, who actually gives a French Fuck what happens on other Forums and on City Data ? I know I couldn't give a rats arse personally, but there ya go.... The Shoutbox may or may not be counter productive, but I myself don't mind having a bit of banter now and then.... but the serious stuff should be in the Forum topics and members should contribute more frequently in these areas to keep things happening and to keep the casual lurker interested. Take on board some of the attributes of Ski.com, and the former Weatherzone ( Aussie Forums ) sites, and no you tools, I don't mean a hostle takeover, I mean a like group of people who are first and foremost weather/climate nuts/nerds, and like to discuss stuff...ie: be a broad church instead of being some insular litte group of about 200 members where only 10% contribute meaninfully.

The problem with climate battles is... well that we have done them for 10 years. The novelty factor dries out. And though I appreciate the effort, I don't really have an interest in choosing between 10 rather similar Australian climates, or any other limited geographical area for that matter, like Texas.
