Now that I have a bit more time to actually comment:
Oulu - I really like their winters alot. Snowy, cold, consistent cold without thaws. But those Aprils and Mays always suck. The warm up there is very slow which sucks (Fairbanks averages 16.7C/3.7C for May) which is considerably better - although I think Fairbanks winters are too cold. Oulu's summer thus far is really good too, but I know its been well above average for them so its not a yearly thing.
Tampere - Essentially outside of the core of winter (December-March), it beats Oulu in everything (warmup/thaw, moderate heat in summer, precipitation, better summer lows, etc). Obviously due to the more southerly location. Overall I'd take Tampere for 2021 stats thus far.

A very anomalous month in Cranbrook. August will no doubt be much cooler. WTF the average July high there was higher than in OKC.

Better than most Julys, obviously. I use overnights in my charts, so the low 25 actually occured on the 26th morning, not the 25th day. The morning had all of the rain on the 26th and it was amazing how heavy the rain got (this is definitely an opinion). It also felt amazing as it barely gets this cool here. The rain made it better. Averages: 42/29 (108/84). A bit warmer than average despite no highs around 50 and a rare actual cold front. Records (°F): 117/78 Lowest high (°F): 98 Highest low (°F): 91 Rain: 1.98 cm (0.78 in with the 26th getting 0.63 in)

not specifically my weather obviously but goes with July very wet in there Northeast, Deep South (not as much relative to normals since their Julys are normally wet) and Desert Southwest (in a relative sense). Also part of the Sierra Nevada in California got 1-2 inches of rain which may not seem like much but their normal July rainfall is barely above 0. just the Northeast

July's sunshine hours are in and, surprise suprise, it was above average yet again! 342.8 hours versus a 30-year average of 308.8. This is our 7th month this year to have above average sunshine. The sunniest year on record was 2011 with 2686 hours of sunshine and at the end of July that year we had 1656 hours compared to 1810 this year. With the current dry, sunny pattern seeming to continue indefinitely, there's a very good chance this could end up being the new sunniest year on record for Saskatoon. Similar deal with dryness. 2001 was our driest year on record and at the end of July we were at 124.6mm of precipitation versus 109.9mm this year.

Mean temperature a degree above the 1991-2020 average so nothing notable on that end. First half of the month was very wet but the second half of the month was a lot dryer.

I don't have access to my PC, so for now only a short summary without Wiki box for Aachen Orsbach. Our record high was colder than the avg high in Turku or Stockholm, and our avg high was significantly colder than Umea's and Göteborg's, and even Sheffield had warmer temps! Overall a wet, cloudy and cool month. Thankfully I have spent the last week at home and experienced at least some temps in the upper 20s. Rec high: 25.5 C Avg high: 21.7 C Mean: 17.5 C Avg Low: 13.5 C Rec Low: 10.0 C Precipitation: 232.2 mm Sunshine: 170.7 h

Ho-ly FUCK what a terrible year bar Jan and June you have had. Indeed, though I would say bar Feb and June. January was very lame, just slightly above freezing without any interesting cold. February was an epic month with a decent cold wave in the first half and spring-like temperatures in the second half. July was acceptable for a single year but obviously would have been much better with slightly warmer temperatures.
My Aachen counter is down to 10 months now.

It's of course not ideal in any way, but neither is that something I'm unfamiliar with. During the time which I'd lived in Turku, I have experienced 3 months that had less than 10 hours of sunshine. 5 hours in November 2014 and December 2020, and 6 hours in February 2014. But after Donar's explanation, I'd also add February as a "good" month.

Here's July for the two main airports of Rome. The T-storms that brought 1.46" of rainfall to my PWS on July 18th didn't bring any rain to either airports. Anomalies [for Ciampino AP; relative to 1991-2020 raw normals]: Average high: +1.2°C (+2.2°F) Mean: +1.2°C (+2.2°F) Average low: +1.2°C (+2.2°F) Precipitation: –20.3 mm (–0.80"; 5% of normal)
