Curse these dreaded, cancerous blocking highs! Hate conspiracy theories, but bitches are controlling the weather for sure or something! This shit is unreal! Already the wettest start of the year on record and the wettest March on record as well! What a fricking joke! Even London doesn't get this damp and gloomy! π£

Mate, blocking highs in the Tasman sea are ALWAYS welcome. It's the ones that root themselves in the Great Australia Bight are the real CANCER.

Ice day possible here monday. Pretty late in the season for that. It would be our first ice day this month lol, pretty nice winter comeback.

High was 80 (26 c) today, just 1 f off the March record high! Should have a good shot at tying or breaking it tomorrow and Monday.
Average first 80 is April 24th, so this came almost a month earlier than normal.
Big diurnal too as the low was 32 (0 c) this morning.

Mate, blocking highs in the Tasman sea are ALWAYS welcome. It's the ones that root themselves in the Great Australia Bight are the real CANCER. Yeah but those in the Tasman Sea give us on the east coast (particularly Sydney) devastating, horrendous, nonstop rainy weather and persistent clouds. They give us "crummers", as you put it. I'm guessing blocking highs in the Tasman Sea give or allow more heat in your area?

Light wet snow during the evening here. Starts to get pretty white, but tomorrow's 6C high will get rid of it.

Wow, almost 20Β°C average max for the past week! And with an additional 22Β°C maximum forecasted for tomorrow. Chilly conditions are foreseen for the end of the week though. Don't care for snow at this point now that some trees/shrubs are leafing out, but any precip will be welcomed. The ECM has 10 cm for the eastern suburbs lol. I'll be happy with cold rain.

Huge forecast bust today, took a while to warm up and then clouds came in in the afternoon. High was only 62 (17 c), which was 18 f (!) cooler than forecast.
Tomorrow still has 80 f forecast, could break the record if it overperforms like yesterday. Hopefully not a big bust like today.

Unusually cold weather for the end of March with temperatures still in the 20s at one in the afternoon. Windchills in the teens with some scattered flurries around. May broach the 30 degree mark but it is expected to stay below freezing for the day.
Thursday might near 70 F/21 C.

Ice day at LGA today with a max of exactly 32. Sky was blurry with squalls visible. Windy too.
Checked the latest ice day on record at LGA: 7 April 1982. But today was the latest one since then.
Most other NYC stations reached 33 or 34. Go figure.
