I looked at the data for Umeå's snow recording station, and the record snow depth since 1955 is 93cm.
So this year may very well have beaten it already, even though the average snow depth is thickest in March/April.

Snowfall through the end of January. Picked up a lot in the second half of the month. Last post, the 12th, had 8.6" total. Now up to 28.7 when the normal is 28.0. October: 0.1" November: Trace December: 5.3" January 23.3" Total: 28.7" (72.9cm) Days with snow falling/lying: October: 2/1 November: 3/0 December: 14/5 January: 19/13 The days with snow falling are days where the NWS reports a trace. Snow lying means the total was 0.1" or more. Days with snow cover: October: 0 November: 0 December: 2 January: 31
It's rare to get constant snow cover in a month that's warmer than average, but January was snowy and avoided having a thaw.

Two more storms on the horizon, keep this up and we could be heading into a top 10 snowiest season soon.
Shaded/drifted areas of the yard are well above the average depth of 11" - not even counting these areas in the average.
