Fuckitty fuck fuck fuck Sorry bro. But why are the storms moving from the ESEโly direction? Seems quite odd, especially at your area where westerlies dominate.

There's been a blocking high over northern Europe got 1 month now. Today's map: The monthly wind rose: I'd rather see that shit in midwinter, but of course it never happens ffs. Btw muggy today, with dps in the 18-20ยฐC range. First 20ยฐC+ low of the year in Paree, with 20.5ยฐC @ Montsouris.

Just had a thunderstorm (the 5th this month) with a massive downpour. Some of the hardest rain Iโve seen here:
0.24โ (6 mm) in 5 minutes 0.42โ (11 mm) in 10 minutes 0.61โ (15 mm) in 15 minutes
Thatโs a max rain rate of 2.88โ/hour!
Looks like close to 1โ has fallen overall which would put June well over 3.5โ with 2/3 of the month left to go. Will be interesting to see the final total tonight.

MTD Averages for June (as of the 12th): 9.1C/16.4C. Record warmth. The coolest maximum temp so far has been 14.1C, achieved both today and on the 2nd. The 2003-2023 averages are 6.5C/14.4C. There looks to be a cold front on the 18th, until then above average conditions are set to continue. We might finally be entering the European pattern of weather so I can't wait for the 32C average summers

A really bad drought here. Grass is starting to turn yellow. Only 37mm since 1st April, and the coming week is bone dry and very warm as well. warning from SMHI: "Risk of forest fire Gรถtaland, Svealand and Gรคvleborg county. The risk of forest and land fires is extremely high. How can it affect me? Very high risk of fire and that fire spreads easily in woodland. Great care should be taken when burning outdoors, fire bans often apply."

Well, well, well, I have a positive thing to talk about my weather this month FOR ONCE. Moisture advection in the warm sector of the stacked low over the Great Lakes is bringing warmth and high dewpoints to much of the east coast, with my PWS logging a max dewpoint of 76.9ยฐF (24.9ยฐC) today so far at 12:51 PM; the AP has seen 75ยฐF DP's - a first since September 12th last year. The true subtropical paradise colors of this climate have finally shined through, with comfortably warm temps in the mid-80s here.

Dewpoint jumps from 30ยบF to 74ยบF in what looks like just a few tens of miles.
