Went for a run yesterday and took some pics, a good glimpse at what the vegetation looks like around my way all that green looks refreshing; still some looks bare-ish; more than I'd like for a winter escape. The palm trees help, at least. Is this park right near your house? What was the temperature and dewpoint?

It's about two miles (three km) south of my house, I jogged there and back This was taken at 5 PM yesterday (roughly), temps at the airport at the time were 66 F (19 C) with a 52 F (11 C) dew point, probably slightly cooler there due to less UHI. I would guess about 64 F (18 C) with a 49 F (9 C) dew point?

Interesting, those images without the palms look like they could have been taken here during the warmer months.

^ I think he meant the pics in the park...not the ones in the marsh. The ones in the park do have a "British Countryside" look to them.
The marshy pics look more like autumn than winter to me tbh.

I'm referring to this kind of pic, could easily have been taken in the park near where I live during a late August sunset.

I think because it's an equestrian park, they do try and maintain a Kentucky-type "temperate climate" look instead of a tropical environment. Palm trees are a dead giveaway of where this pic is though, lol.

It sure looks nice, shame the summers can't be 27/23 instead of 32/27

Because of the strong wind the top of the mountains on the borderline with France look quite stormy today. All that snow moved by the wind created that rainbow though, it lasted for a couple of hours! So that photos are not good for showing wind I also tried to take a short video. I now that it looks like I have Parkinson or something like that, but it was not easy at all to don't move with that wind.

"spring is determined by daylength, not temperature"
