Neat evening shots with the clear skies! Today was the first ice day of the winter (and may well be the only one...). Added a few cm to yesterday evening's layer: Backyard Slushy roads

This photo is from 17:33 today! Quite remarkably long twilight when this occurs at such a northerly latitude as early as 9 February! This tilt of how ends of nautical twilights are way longer up here really is a selling point of this latitude. Gorgeous

Hi everybody! I'm posting a few pictures from this morning. I'm commuting for a while to Bologna, one of my favourite cities in Italy. The weather today was clear, sunny and cool.

This is what poor air quality looks like: The sun appears to be much larger in real life and you can stare right at it. I hate this air not only because it's unhealthy but because it reduces visibility dramatically, ruining my view 😭 This time of year tends to be the worst for air quality due to the lack of rain to clear the air.

Went for a hike around Deep Cove today. Sun felt nice after so many cloudy and wet days. It was about 6C and not much wind. Perfect for a nice hike.

^^ The sun has definitely gained strenght since it last showed up, at least here! Hi everybody! I'm posting a few pictures from this morning. I'm commuting for a while to Bologna, one of my favourite cities in Italy. The weather today was clear, sunny and cool. Nice to see you post here! Btw is it really Bologna? The visibility seems to be more than 10 m. Took advantage of the sunny weather to take a walk in the "nearby" woods. Lots of dripping, Orly airport almost made it to 5°C. This house is 5 miles from the Eiffel tower as the crow flies. Could as well be 50 miles away. Nice looking hangar. In fact it was the first airship hangar in the world. Gonna make a comparison shot à la Cambium. First Feb 2018, below June 2014: Figured out I could also check out how the nearby countryside looks. Flowers are out! Scots pines on south-facing slopes Now that the sun is about to set, clouds have moved in in order to prevent radiational cooling. And what will the bring? Rain! The Atlantic won't leave us alone and let us enjoy one still, starry night with snow on the ground. Snow was deeper in glades. Lol maybe I should have brought snowshoes.

Nice to see you post here! Btw is it really Bologna? The visibility seems to be more than 10 m. Yes, it's Bologna during the rush hour and it's fog-free It actually hasn't been really misty or foggy lately in southeastern Emilia-Romagna, it has been more sunny or partly cloudy than misty. I'm quite busy so I cannot take many photos during daylight, but I will post more pictures of this city whenever I will be able to. I wonder if I'm getting some snow next week as it's forecasted. I hope I'll learn how to post wider photos too

That much snow is really uncommon in Paris right?

Yesterday was sunny and just below freezing. We decided to take the snow mobile out to the lake and have a small grill picnic. Everybody didn't fit on the snow mobile though. Through the woods. I'll post this one in full res so you can see it. It was quite windy on the lake and it looked very antarctic with all the flat desert landscape with wind compressed snow and especially all the snow smoke coming off the ground. Really nice. Full res: Green?? And Blue??? What are these strange colors?? There were no firepits so we made on out of snow one top of the frozen lake. As we headed back the sun started to set behind the hills and mountains.

Mates went walking in the hills, seriously regret not going now. No snow at all stuck down here! does look like more impressive and a harsher landscape with the lack of trees. What were your friends wearing for footwear? Winter boots? Looks rather icy.

Lots of dripping, Orly airport almost made it to 5°C. it looks colder, you got much better winter wonderland scenery than I have all winter Could be here, though really any four season climate putting all the town photos in a spoiler makes the area look much more rural Nice looking houses and nice village center with the stone church my favorite we're getting rain, too. but our snow was ugly from getting rain mixed in. Your sun didn't last long. At least rain held off so the snow last till the weekend. Rain today? What was you snow depth yesterday?
