Winter in the Florida Everglades:

I'm thinking there's a chance of frost in the Everglades in the upcoming days, if we drop into the low-mid 40s it'll surely be in the 30s in the Everglades. Though maybe might be a bit too breezy for frost to form.
Btw is that on Alligator Alley or on Tamiami Trail?

thick frost on cars this morning and on plants this was at 8:30 so there was time for it to burn off but it was too cold and the sun too weak. ===================== some photos from a bike ride a week ago. nice sky feels like the end of fall church converted to home. was a mild morning; strong cold front was making it very windy. was down to the mid 40s or colder by sunset and I hadn't bothered to bring gloves neat clouds

I'm green with envy at all these snow pics, but I love them. Really beautiful.
Btw Razza did I see a palm tree in one of your pics? lol

Snow and palm trees are an epic combination, quite cool to see. Also seeing plants with heavy Spanish Moss on them (a true trademark of a subtropical climate) drenched in snow like in Ral's pics is really awesome too!

A few photos taken from the seafront in Bugibba this afternoon. The temperature was around 17C (63F), but feeling chilly with a strong NW wind blowing... St. Paul's Island, where the apostle was supposedly shipwrecked, he brought Christianity to the Maltese Islands (before that they were Mooselimbs) You can make out Gozo in the distance too & see the approaching front that will bring cold winter rain to Maltese guy jajajajaja... Man maded beach (pathetic bro) where they pile up the sand during the winter so it doesn't get washed away jajajaja... The visibility was so good over the last couple of days that you could actually see Mount Etna in Sicily, but not today buddy... The castle like building on top of the hill in the middle is Selmun Palace, where my nearest Met Office weather station is situated. They must also have a $50 Aldi weather station on their roof, as the readings from there are usually similar to mine jajajajaja... Last photo taken looking across St.Paul's Bay, as Maltese guy needed to getted home before he gotted wet jajajajaja...

Did a hike earlier today in the hills closest to my place in Trondheim. Drove just 2 km and started walking. This is on the northern, shadow-side of the hill. Sun so low now. ca 270 m asl. Upwards Now entering a flat area nearly 400 m asl Now coming to a bog. Temp ca -4c. Could actually have used skies up here Nice hike in this winter landscape.
