35°, on its way to 7° on the winter solstice. It's really cloudy though so the angle is only implied in the ambient light.

(copied from the other thread lol)
Skipton, North Yorkshire
January 21st: 16.3° February 21st: 25.7° March 21st: 36.5° April 21st: 48.1° May 21st: 56.3° June 21st: 59.5° July 21st: 56.4° August 21st: 48.0° September 21st: 36.6° October 21st: 25.2° November 21st: 16.1° December 21st: 12.7°
Early November to early February the sun is that weak it's basically just a lightbulb in the sky, it starts to feel noticeable at midday from about early February, pleasant from early March and relatively strong from mid-April to late August. It never feels uncomfortable or intense. Too weak for too long IMO, my ideal would probably be about ten degrees higher year-round.

Yeah the DST ending fucks things up royally here. As soon as it ends it feels like days finish at 3 pm...

Peak sun angle today 12 Sep is 35.3 degrees here. Getting miserable fast. Physically impossible to tan already Before the end of the month it'll already be down to 28.3 degrees. September means 1 h 4 later sunrises and a whooping 1 h 24 earlier sunsets. In terms of civil twilight it's even worse, here it backs by 1 h 27 min during evenings in September. In fact civil twilight just ended for the day at 8.06 pm and the sun angle is now down to -7 degrees.

I wonder if anybody else with an interest in sun angles/sun movements can accurately tell the time just by looking at where the sun is?
I find it relatively easy when the sun's below about 10 degrees because I'm just that familiar with sunrise/sunset times and I can judge where the sun is compared to wherever it is at its peak and work from there. I don't have a clock in my bedroom, so when I wake up I can often judge pretty well what time it is by looking out of window at the length of the shadows before actually checking my watch. I'm guessing it should still be much easier in the tropics though where day lengths and peak sun angles don't change much.

For example, 11 AM and 9 AM look a lot different from each other so whenever I wake up instead of checking my phone or clock I look outside. 9 AM has an "early morning" light to it still, 11 AM looks more like late morning/early afternoon.
