Peak sun angle today (October 5th) is 58.89 degrees. Solar noon is also getting earlier by the day - a sure sign that "winter" is on it's way.

Getting pretty low now, but I have to say that with the warm temps we’ve been experiencing the sun feels higher than it actually is, if that makes any sense. The sun’s strength feels amplified by the warm temps, at least to my skin.

While the strength is still there, I'm finding the sun definitely doesn't pack the punch it did even just a few weeks ago. 43 degrees here
